I'm very pleased to report the 39th issue of the GPWA Times Magazine is now available online and will be distributed next week in Berlin at the Excellence in iGaming (EiG) and Berlin Affiliate Conference (BAC) and in Malta at the Malta International iGaming Summit (SiGMA) held the 22nd to 25th of November. Hard copies of the magazine will be mailed to GPWA members, so please be sure to provide us with your mailing address if you would like to receive one (see details at the end of this announcement).
Our goal for every issue of the GPWA Times Magazine is to provide informative, thought-provoking content in an entertaining fashion. To that end, in this issue we get an expert's opinion on what the impending General Data Protection Regulation will mean to our industry, explain the increasing importance of gaming apps to your business, and present a recent thread from our forums that discusses what affiliates look for in an affiliate manager.
This issue's cover story delves into online lotteries and explains why it's a vertical you may want to start paying close attention to – if you aren't already.
In addition, we have another series of compelling affiliate interviews that provide insight into the kinds of challenges some of our colleagues are facing while taking a closer look at their personal lives, including Atanas Tanev (Synthetic) from Bulgaria, Alex Windsor (allaboutthebets) from England, Vardan (vardan) from Armenia and Christiaan Bollen (Christiaan) from Belgium. This issue's affiliate manager interviewees are Srdjan Kapor from BitStarz and Sara Klimper from Lapalingo Affiliates.
We also present a photo gallery from this past summer's Amsterdam Affiliate Conference at the iGaming Super Show, which captures an array of characters hamming it up, as well as our regular list of departments including Quotables, By the Numbers, GPWA Member Poll, updated Event Calendar and the newest member of the APCW Wall of Shame.
