Smile GPWA Times Magazine issue 39 now online and to be distributed at BAC and SiGMA!

I'm very pleased to report the 39th issue of the GPWA Times Magazine is now available online and will be distributed next week in Berlin at the Excellence in iGaming (EiG) and Berlin Affiliate Conference (BAC) and in Malta at the Malta International iGaming Summit (SiGMA) held the 22nd to 25th of November. Hard copies of the magazine will be mailed to GPWA members, so please be sure to provide us with your mailing address if you would like to receive one (see details at the end of this announcement).

Our goal for every issue of the GPWA Times Magazine is to provide informative, thought-provoking content in an entertaining fashion. To that end, in this issue we get an expert's opinion on what the impending General Data Protection Regulation will mean to our industry, explain the increasing importance of gaming apps to your business, and present a recent thread from our forums that discusses what affiliates look for in an affiliate manager.

This issue's cover story delves into online lotteries and explains why it's a vertical you may want to start paying close attention to – if you aren't already.

In addition, we have another series of compelling affiliate interviews that provide insight into the kinds of challenges some of our colleagues are facing while taking a closer look at their personal lives, including Atanas Tanev (Synthetic) from Bulgaria, Alex Windsor (allaboutthebets) from England, Vardan (vardan) from Armenia and Christiaan Bollen (Christiaan) from Belgium. This issue's affiliate manager interviewees are Srdjan Kapor from BitStarz and Sara Klimper from Lapalingo Affiliates.

We also present a photo gallery from this past summer's Amsterdam Affiliate Conference at the iGaming Super Show, which captures an array of characters hamming it up, as well as our regular list of departments including Quotables, By the Numbers, GPWA Member Poll, updated Event Calendar and the newest member of the APCW Wall of Shame.

    How to Subscribe

Of course, if you are not able to pick up a copy in person in Berlin or Malta we are more than happy to mail you a copy. All you have to do is visit www.GPWAtimes.org/subscribe/

If you are already registered on the GPWA site, then just click on the subscription registration link and fill in your mailing address information (you need to be logged in on the GPWA website) and we will mail you a copy of the magazine to you. If you are not already registered on the GPWA website, click on the new member registration link first, fill in the information and visit the "My Magazine Subscription" page once you have registered.

Once you enter your mailing address you will automatically receive future issues.

Sorry that there was an error in the link (it was missing a trailing slash). It has now been fixed.

Okay, upon further investigation it appears there are also currently some issues with the actual online magazine itself. Some pages seem to work fine, and others seem to have resources missing that prevent their proper display. Going through the magazine one page at a time, it appears to me that there are currently issues with the following 11 pages out of the 76 pages in the issue: 6, 11-13, 17, 25, 31, 35-36, 48 and 69. However, once one attempts to display a broken page, the problem does seem to be able to persist in viewing other pages unless a page refresh is done first.

Right now I am uncertain how long it will take to reach the right folks and correct the errors. And it is also possible that republishing the magazine issue will result in the currently working pages no longer functioning properly until the republication process is complete.

Just a quick note to say the issue with inaccessible pages was fixed this morning. We had two folks working on preparing the online version of the new issue of the magazine, and they were using slightly different versions of the publishing software to make updates. That evidently resulted in some pages being corrupted. Please let us know if anyone observes any further issues.

    Thanks,
