I'm pleased to announce the digital edition of the 49th issue of the GPWA Times magazine is now available online.
Of course, because of COVID-19, the print edition will not be shipped to a live conference, however, we are in the process of mailing a hard copy to all GPWA members. So, please be sure to provide your correct mailing address right away if you would like to receive a copy (see more details at the end of this announcement).
Speaking of the pandemic, there is reason for optimism. Vaccines are being administered, restrictions are being lessened, and COVID-19 numbers, in most, but not all parts of the world, are in decline. While the health and safety of ourselves and our loved ones remains the priority, making necessary modifications and adjustments to our businesses is vital right now, and that is the main focus of this issue — the road to recovery.
Two of our regular expert contributors — Lorien Pilling from Global Betting and Gaming Consultants and Christina Thakor-Rankin from 1710 Gaming — have each detailed suggestions about some of the new opportunities for iGaming affiliates to consider as the pandemic hopefully begins to fade. In addition, Maxim Ishunin from 1XBet explains why you should consider delving into the world of esports, if you haven’t already, while Larissa Green from the iGaming SEO team at Blueclaw has some important details about Google’s New Page Experience, set to launch in May, and what you should be doing to prepare for it.
Our affiliate interview series features Jason D. (GPWA member name loquax) from the U.K., Oleksii K. (artrust99) from Ukraine and Andrew H. (LegalBetAndy), who lives in Thailand. For our affiliate manager interviews, we sit down with Anastasios Ioannidis from Mr Green and Martin Janovcik from GAMING1.
We also have our regular departments, including portal site owner rankings from iGamingDirectory.com and details on how you can access the data on the site for free, From the Forums, By the Numbers, GPWA Poll results, and we induct another member of the APCW Wall of Shame.
