Thumbs up GPWA Times Magazine Issue 6 Published

I'm very pleased to report the sixth edition of the GPWA Times Magazine is now available and is currently being distributed at the EiG and GPWA Conferences in Barcelona this week.

GPWA Times Magazine - Sixth Issue Cover

When you receive your physical copy of the new issue we hope you will be pleased with the upgrades we've made. We've listened and this issue has dramatically increased production values, sporting a glossy cover on heavy stock and full-bleeds throughout the entire magazine. And it's our largest issue ever, filled with lots of good information. We look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions as we strive to make every issue better than the one before!

Once again, based on popular demand, this issue continues our interview series with both GPWA portal webmasters and affiliate program managers. Our affiliate interviews feature a Norwegian living in Spain, a Londoner who did research work in New Jersey, a South African who used to live in New Zealand, and a true-blue Brit who loves the Lake District and Wing Chun. And our affiliate manager interviews include Margaret Burke of PKR Affiliates Eugeny Pavlov of Betfair, Martyn Beacon of Red Returns, Simon Eaton of EarnReal and Rose Smith of Lotto Elite. Plus you’ll have the opportunity to tag along with Chris Taylor of AffiliateClub.com as he takes you through a day in the life of an affiliate manager.

Our cover story takes a close look at the extraordinary measures the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is taking to get to the bottom of the “superuser” scandals at Absolute Poker and UltimateBet – an investigation with which AP and UB and their parent company are fully cooperating. And be sure to read the “Places I’ve Played” piece, where you’ll see how the first Facebook application created for online gambling affiliates will increase your revenue along with the traffic to your portal sites.

Last – but never, never least – Rebecca Liggero shares with us the results of her scholarly research into what makes some members of the GPWA community and assorted hangers-on more “superlative” than others.

Of course, if you are not able to pick up a copy in person at the EiG or GPWA conference in Barcelona this week, we would be happy to mail you a copy. If you are already registered on the GPWA site, then to subscribe to the GPWA Times Magazine just click on the "Edit My Details" option under the "My Account" menu bar navigation item (you need to be logged in for this option to be available). If you fill in your mailing address information in your profile, we will mail a copy of the magazine to you and we'll also include some prior issues if we have not already sent you them. If you are not already registered on the GPWA website, then just click the "Join GPWA" link above the navigation bar, and follow the "Register Now" link on that page, being sure to provide your mailing address when you register.

UPDATE: All past issues of the GPWA Times Magazine are now available online. Just click on the following link to see the sixth issue:

lol, I can feel the anticipation is building!

I used to get the same feelings when I was a kid and our family moved to Canada - every month I was waiting in anticipation for my copy of 'The Beano' to arrive in the post...

(I suspect only those that grew up in the UK will understand the Beano reference - is it still going?)

Awsome work! The best by far, great quality and the timing was perfect, read it cover to cover on my short 16 hour travel back to the states. Can't say well done enough! Standing 'O' to GPWA Times staff!

I have to agree the magazine is much better looking than the previous issues, i have to say the best bit in the whole magazine is pages 46 to 47.

    Great work.

    My magazine arrived arrived yesterday

Great job on the upgrades! The look and feel are top notch and as always, the articles are awesome.

I especially enjoyed the interviews. It's always fun reading about our peers. Rebecca's Superlatives was a blast! And, the AP/UB coverage was a good read. It's great seeing the magazine covering some controversial subject matter, and doing it tastefully.

    Well done and thank you,

    I like the magazine myself.
One suggestion: Maybe you should somehow check who attended the conferences and picked up his copy already. I always end up having at least two copies somehow, but it is probably difficult to work this out.
