Default GPWA Times magazine issue 8 to be released at CAC Amsterdam

Sounds like this GPWA Times is a great read. We're stuck here at Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia, which isn't a bad place to be stuck at. A birdie told me some of our stuff is too risque for GPWA. As you would have read Australians don't like censorship much. Here at Bondi Beach "white pointers" (topless) is all the rage and we love our casino babes, poker babes and burlesque dolls also. It surprised me that Playboy casino is shutting its doors. Slotland looked to try to fill a gap with one of their games but I don't think the program has enough financial incentives for igaming entrepreneurs and website owners et al. A 3D risque casino would be something to see.

GPWA Times Magazine - Eighth Issue Cover

In this issue's cover story, Gary Trask gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the latest developments in 3D gaming, which isn't just for poker anymore. He shows how LeCroupier and Buzzluck are applying the PKR formula to the rest of the casno. Lifelike graphics and astute marketing are attracting more and more players to try something dramatically different.

We also continue our popular interview series, this time with four affiliates (GPWA members casinoranking, chalkie, robertmedl, shaz) and three affiliate managers (Dina Cohen of 3Aff, Sami Malka of BestPay, and Kate Garber of Pitbull Partners). Plus Andy of Affiliate Guard Dog weighs in with his words of wisdom on choosing affiliate programs and Jeremy Enke of Poker Affiliate Listings writes on the benefits of bogging for poker affiliates.

Plus Nicky Senyard discusses the pros and cons of AdWords, Connie Burstin shares her thoughts on the competitive value of cross-cultural operations. And we report on the recent Income Access affiliate marketing survey, share comments from attendees at the GPWA January conference in Las Vegas, and Attorney Joseph Kelly examines the UIGEA's exemption from U.S. federal prosecution for fantasy sports. In addition, our "Departments" sections are chock-full of news, gossip, facts, and figures - and the latest installment of our cartoon caption contest. You're invited to enter to win!

And last, but certainly not least, we have a great six page spread from Rebecca Liggero about some of her friends in the affiliate world. See an up-close and personal view of the folks she knows behind RakeTheRake.com, Rakeback.org, Poker Source Online, Pokerisivut.com, Wager Industries, Gambling911.com, Slots.org, Online.CasinoCity.com, info-casino-online.com, CasinoGuide.com, SmartGambler.com, CasinoMeister.com and Reefmedia.com.

Of course, if you are not able to pick up a copy in person at CAC Amsterdam this coming week, we would be happy to mail you a copy. If you are already registered on the GPWA site, then to subscribe to the GPWA Times Magazine just click on the "Edit My Details" option under the "My Account" menu bar navigation item (you need to be logged in for this option to be available). If you fill in your mailing address information in your profile, we will mail a copy of the magazine to you and we'll also include some prior issues if we have not already sent you them. If you are not already registered on the GPWA website, then just click the "Join GPWA" link above the navigation bar, and follow the "Register Now" link on that page, being sure to provide your mailing address when you register.

I got mine yesterday. I love this magazine and look forward to it every month.

    Great contributers to articles!

I always love the interviews and these were great. I like the format they are in now. I enjoyed learing more about shaz, robertmedl (love the family pic), casinoranking and chalkie. Except for Chalkies last answer about cooking!

    Well done GPWA!

It's put out four times per year so 3 months between issues is just about right. I'll check the subscriber list to make sure we have your address in it correctly -- can you send me a PM noting the address that should be listed?

    Becky

I hear from a secrect source that the GPWA want to add a new twist to the magazine....

    Is it true???

I have been told that each Michael wants to a member of the gaming community as a double page pin up, and you will be in the first issue???

    Is this true?

Well, Shaun, you are partially correct. Yes, we will be incorporating industry double page pin-ups into our GPWA magazines. Woo hoo!! However, I am not going to be in the first issue...Michael Caselli is. He is the sexiest man in online gaming, so we figured it would be a big hit. You are next.
