Any program who sent that to me wouldn't be getting any more promoting from me at all!

Coral reducing to bet £5 get £5 from 5pm on Friday

If you can please update your site content to reflect these changes for the duration of the bet £5 get £5 offer then that will be great.
Slightly less aggressive approach than some of the quotes above!!

Is this the same Will Hill who claim they don't want Grand National customers and then hammer Google PPC with a Grand National offer?

In my opinion it's making mugs out of affiliates - The guys claiming they don't want Grand National traffic and its all low value etc, etc, are the same ones hounding me for placement on my Grand National site. It's a weekend of free traffic for them (or low cost traffic in some cases).

Anyone know what Bet365 are doing? Seem to remember last year that new players on the day weren't tagged and think the site went dark for a few hours but could be wrong..

Offer is staying in place and new registrations are allowed, unlike last year. Got this info from live chat earlier.

Betfair reducing as per email just received:

Our two generic Bet 10 Get 30 pages (both racing and football) will be switching at 12pm on Friday to a free matched bet up to £20 plus up to a £10 free bet if your horse doesn’t finish. This offer will continue in the lead-up to the race on Saturday, and at 5.15pm Saturday will switch back to Bet 10 Get 30 as usual.

    Couldn't agree more with this.

Its one of the biggest betting events of the year and it should be a time for affiliates to take advantage of their hard work done on their websites by getting a fair price/agreed price during the year for new signups...

Moving the goalposts again it seems.

Bet365 stopped taking registrations on Grand National day last year.

I don't think they're making mugs of affiliates to be honest, I just think they're cancelling their offers as they know a lot of these punters are once a year, will place a bet and if it wins will withdraw the winnings and that will be that. Bonuses are probably a waste of time with 90% of these customers who will just take the bonus and then kick off when they can't withdraw it straight away.

If the bookies are stopping their offers then I go along with that, I'd rather protect my key accounts from once a year customers who will just take any bonus on offer and clear off.
