Greece sets deadline for online gaming sites
According to Card Player Europe, Greece has given unlicensed online gaming sites one month to withdraw from the Greek market. If they don't, they will be blacklisted and face fines ranging from 200,000 euros to 500,000 euros.

That is absolutely true!
Bet365 have already pulled their ads from all affiliate websites and Betfair pulled out of the market altogether by sending relevant email notifications to players. Rumours have William Hill pulling out as well!
However, the RGA and EGBA have filled a joint compaint to the EU about the relative law and there good be changes to it as early as within December.

greece arrest affiliate....
Unfortunatelly Greece start arresting affiliates who promote sites which have not gaming licence in Greece.... the article is this http://www.ethnos.gr/article.asp?cat...pubid=63742495 (in greek). It says that the opap said to police that the affiliate was advertise illegal (!!) betting companies in his webpage!
