Default hacking and gaming go well together

    http://gamingeverything.com/hacking-...-one-launches/

I honestly had hoped that this article went further into it but figured I would throw this up here to get input from anyone that preuses their logs regularly and has seen an increase also.

I do not agree that Spain is the highest on the list of what I see in my logs, but I do tend to agree that Spain ip's has maybe seen that largest overall increase this year for attacking ips.

I find it interesting that they mention it as having the largest numbers, but I also wonder if a few of the other countries are blocked in more places.

Also interesting to note, I have run accross articles discussing almost every single email provider admitting to being hacked in the last month or two.

Is this part of the heart bleed virus? There doesn't seem to be a financial gain of putting malware on a play station

If it is part of heartbleed it is because their servers were vunerable with an https login. They didn't really explain much, and I wish they would have gone into more detail, I haven't researched this much to be honest as I stumbled accross it while looking for general info about recent hack activity.

This article mentions they are profiting, but not how. It just mentions hackers are stealing accounts....ummm and then what?

I just found this in one of the comments.
With Microsoft, if you used you debit/credit card to buy Xbox LIVE Gold membership or some other subscription based service through Microsoft, you cannot remove your card until the subscription runs outs. I know, I had that problem and was furious.
