I just worked, otherwise I would of been sitting at home alone replying to emails anyway. Although I did get a huge cake at work, so it was almost worth it. Might do something nice at the weekend though.

Every year on our birthday's we take the day off if it is a week day and try to do something nice together.

I wont lie, I actually hate it when people sing happy birthday to me. That's the reason I take the day off.
There is also a cake I buy myself every year for my birthday and I have to travel about an hour to get it. So I do that in the morning then eat cake pretty much the whole day. If you can't eat an entire cake on your birthday, when else can you do it?

I'm glad they got you a cake. What kind was it?
