Thanks to all for your birthday wishes! We're going to celebrate on Friday at the Horseshoe Casino -- Binion's for dinner (my favorite restaurant in my hometown of Cincinnati) with my parents, and a little gamblin'.
Best present i got this year was advice -- on Sunday, I was in my cups and was prepared to make a very large bet (well, very large for me, anyway) on Alabama -6.5. I mentioned this to my wife. She suggested that I make it on Monday after I'd slept on it. I did sleep on it, and didn't make the bet. Whew. Now we have more money to "invest" in Powerball tickets.
