Happy Easter Everyone!!
Happy Easter .....
.... and since you'll all be bored over the Easter Weekend, why not have a game of poker where the proceeds benefit those worse off.
Come on, join in. You know you'll like it!!! :)
See the Press Release below and please feel free to mention on your sites! The more that play the more people we help.:
Poker Nations & TPT Charity Tournament
Poker Nations (http://www.pokernations.com) and the TPT (Twitter Poker Tour) have announced a Charity Poker Event in aid of Poker Gives taking place on April 4th at 2pm EST.
Poker players can help support a number of great charities while playing their favourite game online. A number of poker professionals will be joining regular players at the tables, for the game and to chat, in one of the most prestigious charity poker events of the year!
Big name professionals including Andy Bloch, TJ Cloutier, Jan Fisher, Susie Isaacs, Jena Delk, Linda Johnson, and Eric “Rizen” Lynch have all confirmed and will be playing the event benefiting Poker Gives.
Poker Gives was founded by poker industry professionals Mike Sexton, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, and Lisa Tenner as a way for the poker world to "Give Back" to worthwhile charity organizations. The goal is to raise funds through poker events and donate it to four mainstream charities that are near and dear to their hearts. The benefactors are the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Special Olympics, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Step by Step Foundation.
The tournament format will be No-Limit Hold’em and will have a double starting stack of 3,000 tournament chips. Buy in for the event costs just $10 and will be split equally between the charity and prize pool.
There are also a large number of donated prizes to further add to the excitement of this prestigious event. Full details of the tournament and registration details to be eligible for the sponsored prizes can be found at http://www.pokernations.com/charity.php.
To register for the charity poker tournament event, log into Full Tilt Poker, click on tournaments, and then click on the “private” tab in the tournament lobby. Scroll down to the Poker Nations / TPT event on April 4 that starts at 14:00 (it is listed in red). The tournament id is 137275439 and the password for tournament registration is PokerNations.
