Harrah's launches online bingo site

Back in early December Harrah's Entertainment entered the online gambling world with the launch of Caesars Casino Online. The company took another step in the online world by launching Caesars Bingo Online last weekend.

Three months after launching the much anticipated Caesars Casino Online, Harrah's Interactive Entertainment (HIE) has entered the bingo market.

A press release from HIE confirms the company has launched CAESARS Bingo Online. The site is only available to U.K. residents and will be powered by the Gamesys software platform. It will offer roulette, baccarat, slots and blackjack as well as free-to-play and real money games.

HIE is a subsidiary of land-based casino giant Harrah's Entertainment. It is based in Montreal and was launched in May of 2009. Garber is the former CEO of PartyGaming.

Gamesys owns popular British bingo room Jackpotjoy. It will provide gaming operations, payment solutions and customer service to go along with its software platform.
