In July Google announced a new Search Console Video Indexing Report. You can see the announcement Google made here:

You can help Google find videos on your site through the use of special sitemap tags that provide information about videos on your site.
Google Search Central: Video sitemaps and alternatives
For this week’s poll I ask if you have videos on any of your sites. And, if you do, I ask if Google is aware of the presence of videos on your site and reports their presence in the new Search Console report and if you publish information about videos using the special video sitemap tags.
One site where we host videos is the APCW.org website, and for that website Google reports it has indexed 546 videos and that it knows about an additional 15 videos that are not current indexed, mostly because due to the videos not yet being processed.
I only recently discovered video sitemap tags, so we are beginning to use them, and I expect we will eventually be as good about including all videos in sitemaps the same way we we are good about including the pages on our sites n sitemaps.
