Yes, it is serious compared to seasonal flu, but people will eventually have to choose between a certain number of deaths and total misery for everyone. Buying time with this lockdown is good, otherwise Italy will happen to every country.

Leagues will be played again, with or without crowds (mostly without). Things will go on. We just have to hang in there for a few months.

Since a lot of people don't even know they are infected, I think the numbers are even lower than these. These are the numbers from the confirmed cases and these people went to hospital because they felt bad. A lot of people who felt only something like cold did not even make tests.
