London-based Captive Media has been busing installing a novel gaming device in Europe over the past few months: It uses a video game console mounted above a urinal and an infrared sensor detecting the directional flow of a user's urine stream as the game control. You can see a story about this new gaming device here:

When I brought this new device to the attention of our editorial staff, and inquired about whether they had any ideas about a weekly poll question, they were immediately drawn to the observation at the beginning of the article that "a significant number of mobile phone users admit to using their phones while in the bathroom (explaining how some phones end up in the toilet)" and the reference to the following survey on the topic: Survey: 75 percent of Americans admit to using phone while in bathroom.
Besides answering this week's poll question about whether you multi-task smartphone and toilet time, be sure to share any first-hand or second-hand stories about phones ending up underwater. As well as your thoughts about the future of toilet video gaming.
Michael
