Default heaviest spam of the month

    Whoa....

I gotta say today is the hands down winner of the heaviest spam day of the month.

I got nailed really hard today by a drug spammer.

The "from" is the same on all of the "Best rX"

they advertise dozens and dozens of different domains, free sites that redirect to the main site...what a mess.

I have gotten a few hundred spams in each and every one of my email accounts that have ever been used on the internet anywhere...

...this has totaled into the thousands easily just today alone....

in each and every case, I looked at 30 o4 40 mails, the domain that the main focus is direct to is owned by the same Chinese spammer with this email address.

Attention All MODS, I am fully aware I have listed his email in a public forum the WILL be spidered by the robots and most importantly the SPAM BOTS! Do not hide the above email account it will serve him right to have the email account trashed since this will only accelerate the loss of the domains when Internic sends him mail,,,,my guess is all domains are throw away anyhow...

I actually have a page on one of my computer sites that I list spammers email accouns as well.

I don't remember if I ever added it to the navigation structure or not, but it is spidered by the spam bots regularly.

By the sheer scope and amount of spam I saw today from this run, my guess is this spamming run was felt by a number of the big isp's. My mail server saw a considerable increase today and it was predominantly this one group.

I am not contributing this spam run to conficker since it kicked off a full 20-30 hours before it was scheduled.

I am 100% sure that the kind of volume that must have been required to produce this particular run had to have been rented out on one of the larger bot networks.

When I see that amount of volume within a few dozen email accounts though, it just shows how utterly STUPID the spammers are.

OK, so you get a handful of spam...or even a fair amount, even if you are silly enough to open a few to see what the are because the subject line of the sender "gotcha"....but if you have a single email account get a few hundred from the same sender with different but related subject lines....all it does is **** you off and you want to strangle the sender, the company advertised and you damn sure aren't going to spend a dime at their website.

Spam was never a good thing, although it had to have been even moderatley effective since it's such a low cost to get saturation in the millions, but the spam that is being sold to the drug sites lately has got to be about the worst list management ever...a single recipient should NEVER recieve a few hundred pieces....because that is the kinds of flags that gets the sites advertised shut down days sooner which hurts them in their short term monetary goals.

Yeah. I always wonder why those Rx selling site should spam their way to have clients. They've been a pain in the ass too at my webmaster forum and moderating them becomes a daily routine.

Just kidding but conficker was released about 18 hours ago. I wonder how many are receiving Viagra spam email. Been months for myself, maybe the company finally was nabbed?

Within the past month my spam has gone through the roof... Casino spam, Rx stuff, MensHealth.com, some guy named Don looking to sell my web design 3 times a day, and today its been weight loss... I had to buy a spam blocker it got so bad. I was down to < 10 spams per day in January, I'm back to 200+ - and greylisting isn't working as well as it used to...

In our webmaster forum, we decided to set up our registration process into a very strict policy so that spammers will be blocked from there to boot.
I think some robot spammers are becoming rampant online nowadays. What do you think?
