As I said. We haven't received any complaints of such acts from our network of affiliates.
As I said. We haven't received any complaints of such acts from our network of affiliates.
Let's see if I got your point... So I first need to go to your site, sign up at a rogue program involved in criminal activities, leave my personal and bankdetails at a program that is involved in criminal activities before you eventually will stop promoting your in criminal activities involved silver sponsors?
And here you're pretending we should spread the word to stop this...

So in other words, others can provide a place to complain and take advertising dollars from those being complained about but the GPWA shouldn't?
The GPWA has been allowing affiliates to speak freely (both the good and the bad) about the programs for more than 12 years. (it is the standard from which most other affiliate forums have been based off of)
Personally, I am very glad the the GPWA allows and encourages this open communications about such programs even when they are sponsors, and based upon these reports and posts I certainly would not join such a group.
It is very clear to almost anyone that has followed the story of the hackers, that many programs no longer work with them BECAUSE of the reports here at the GPWA and a few other forums.
Now I would also like to see a little more public pressure applied, but I also know there is pressure being applied that is not always done publicly.
Like someone mentioned above, we as affiliates should make sure that anyone involved understand this issue is not going to go away and that collectively we can apply pressure by reduced traffic and reducing exposure, as well as warning other affiliates not to join their programs until such time as they do take action.
This particular thread should be more about Buffalo, and warning others about them, and less about bashing the place where we do have the voice to do so.

I agree and share your frustration. It certainly would help them (and all the sites that have been listed) if they did redirect the links. However, Buffalo Partners told me they were unable forward the links to a blank page. Since their Affiliate Statistics Softwareis proprietary I can't say that statement is false. I have sent Buffalo affiliate ID's and hacked sites from this thread for them to close. But as you all know this has become a never ending task of finding links and getting accounts closed with the links still active.
It would be helpful if some of these programs were proactive in seeking out this activity, it should not be the affiliates responsibility to constantly point out these links. A great amount of time and effort has gone into chasing down these hacked links and getting many accounts closed and links redirected where possible. But no matter how many links have been removed, as long as the hacking continues and the same sites links exist, the sentiment of us condoning it will continue. I will ask Michael to post his thoughts here. I certainly don't want to continue to do the same things I have been with an expectation of a different result.
I am here to help if you have any issues with an affiliate program.
Become involved in GPWA to truly make the association your own:
Apply for Private Membership | Apply for the GPWA Seal | Partner with a GPWA Sponsor | Volunteer as a Moderator
It is NOT about the "links" it is about the sudden traffic peaks and the payment details the hackers use and by now they must have a pretty good picture of them as Buffalo Partners have been paying these criminals for more than 1 year..............
On the other hand they have NOT closed the affiliate accounts with regard to onlinetopcasinos.com / toponlinecasinosbonus.com (aff92779/bfpadid52459) / onlinegambling365.net
I do agree with postings above this post. I spoke to various affiliate managers and they told me that after blocking the account, they sometimes open a new account, but usually you'll rid of them. They're doing this for money. They won't give a site toppositions everywhere if they won't get paid end of the month.
888, AffPower and Buffalo are trustable partners for this criminals. I think it would help if this brands would feel the consequences of their behaviour a little more.
At the websites GCG wrote down today, I notice some new brands do appear (Royal Panda, Mr Green, etc)

I was looking at the GPWA brochure... for 4k a year you're making your own code of conduct and stuff to some joke... really?

"Buffalo Partners told me they were unable forward the links to a blank page."
Huuuh, after reading this ... it made my hair stand on end.
Next time they tell Anthony that all people from staff have only one arm and can not control their computer.
Affiliate Edge demonstrated, that it can be done within the blink of an eye.
Every affiliate program can do everything with the links if they really want it.
Do you really believe, that the programmers didn't built some backdoors in every software that will be used in this industry?
These backdoors are also for security reasons and can be white magic but as we all know also black magic.
Still waiting for the footage that shows Fernanda drinking two bottles of schnapps on conference and laughing together with some other people about players, webmasters and the website owners that didn't update their Wordpress early enough.
I hope not to see in the footage any Buffalo staff around Fernanda's private drunkard table.

"888, AffPower and Buffalo are trustable partners for this criminals."
Thank you so much, that you mention also 888.
My experience is, that as bigger a program is as more silence from the people.
Well, backbone is not the thing of everybody.

Until today I never invested one minute in Buffalo partners.
Result of investigation after 8 minutes:
Go to
buffalopartners.com
In the middle of the screen you'll find
"Our proud partners"
In the "proud partners" list you see
Ruby Fortune
Jackpot City
Gaming Club
River Belle
And now go to this current hacked page, one out of thousand that are still active and have the same content and the same accomplices:
techinvicto.com/wp-content/uploads/gewinnt-man-roulette-kostenlos/
or alternative
top-webcasinos2015.com/?lang=de
(same content)
Click on the German flag in the top of the criminal website and you wil find
Ruby Fortune
Jackpot City
Gaming Club
River Belle
Any questions?
Don't bother.
The answer from Buffolo to your questions will be: "[We are] unable forward the links to a blank page."
Well, for me 8 minutes were enough to find out which way the wind is blowing.

Well one thing they "could" do is just go ahead and block the ip address of known hacker sites.

working with hackers is counter productive :
- destroying your brands integrity and become suspicious to players that may not download and sign up when you are listed on retail, school, cooking sites etc
- hackers steal content and put unnatural links to portals to destroy their rankings ; these are the places that bring you the better players.
- government bodies will gather more information about these hacking issues over time.
- new affiliates will likely not sign up to your program
Very difficult to prevent this. Best thing to do is just focus on being the best you can. According to Matt Cutts, Google often have a human check when duplicate content is found. Just be the obvious original! I think also, as long as you've been indexed first you don't have anything to worry about.
Casinos *should* do regular quality checks though.

Mm... Looks like the entire staff in charge for this "checking" is away with Cutts in his loooooong sabbatical leave.
As for now, just doing a simple "copy & paste" of some pieces of our pages we see 3..5...7...18...23 (twenty three!) results (most of them hacked websites) outranking the same pages...
You have to worry, IMO. "LAMERS" found the way to outrank you. They call it "canonicalisation hack". Simply G (that's broken, it is a fact...) thinks that the "original content" is the "hacked" one. They are still trying to fix this issue... without success...
There is a nice discussion on a big webmasters forum, I'm following it trying to fix it myself... without success.

More than two weeks later nothing happened.
The links are still active, and more assets of criminal origin flowed into the wallets.
Buffalo Bill turns in his grave.
Even your suggestion to block the ip address was simply ignored.
When does negligence end and intent start?

I give up
My projects are on hold as it is not profitable to me anymore
The hackers topics have not been that important here on the GPA as they are all unsolved.
Good luck with saving your portals content from the scraper tools used by this hacker

Listen Buffalo Brill,
we here in Germany have written in our laws the "Obviousness of the Holocaust". That means, that the Holocaust is so undeniable and obviousness, that it is prohibited to deny it or to challenge it. You will go into jail if you do so. Our latest case is 88 years old Mrs. Ursula Haverbeck who was sentenced some weeks ago for 2 1/2 years prison for Holocaust deny.
So, if I look now into your case, I see the same obviousness.
I searched hundreds of German hacked websites over the last 5 months.
And do you know what?
Your casinos are still there and active, but the website design changed and also some extras from the hackers were included e.g. stars rich snippets.
That is proof, that the hackers are a) alive b) still active and c) no idiots.
Regarding a), b) and especially c) means, that they only will put casinos on the website from programs who pay them.
The fact, that over the period of the last 5 months many changes from the hackers were made on the websites but your casinos and also in cases identical ref-links were not removed, proofs, that you still a) working with the hackers b) pay the hackers and c) are a complete idiot because the obviousness is so strong, that you better should leave GPWA as soon as possible and edge away into the next cave you can find, forever.
Go away, scapegraces!
Go!
By the way: Merry Christmas, Buffalo Brill.
I hope your children will be happy with their gifts that were paid with money from criminal origin.
