help me , please

I need a piece of advice from you experience people here. The matter is, I work for a rich guy who literally spends tens of thousands a year on gambling (sports betting, to be exact). At the moment he’s thinking of switching to new bookies for some reasons I don’t exactly know and he’s asked me to find him a couple of good ones. My idea is to make him my referral and get some 30% of his net losses, which would be quite nice, obviously. I am really new to all this so I need some words of advice how to arrange it best, i.e. good reliable bookies with trustworthy affiliate schemes. Thanks much! <o:p></o:p>

In such a situation, make doubly sure that whoever you deal with has no clauses in their contract that say that you have to bring x number of new players within any time period or you will not be paid for previous referrals.

You have two sides to consider... The type of sportsbook your boss wants and the affiliate program behind that sportsbook.

For example, there is Bodog which is a sportsbook, but offers a lot of other "media" experiences. Sportsbooks like Nine.com which have (had?) some sex appeal, but dont cater to big dogs. Lastly, some are set up for the big dollar gambling offering good prices on lines, with few extra perks.

Very few affiliate programs are going to be happy paying you 20-30% for a single referral. Practically every T&C for affiliate programs says you must be actively promoting their site or they can terminate your agreement.

Bodog I think requires a website, and nine.com makes it very clear they will not pay you if you don't bring a new customer per period.

Perhaps intertops is a good choice, very established, good book and clean T&Cs.

That said, I know very little about sportsbetting, never had anything to do with it, just know about some of the T&Cs.

Maybe you should discuss this with your boss?.... about how it could be profiitable for both of you?.... Just thought I would throw that idea out there.... It may be very beneficial for both of you!
