High Quality Graphics Designer

I just wanted to come here and give a shout out to Eyenod as I have done on Pokeraffiliatelistings as well. I know many times people end up outsourcing something and dont get what was expected...not often enough do we here about the really great people and in my opinion he is one of them.

Eyenod (name here on GPWA) aka Eduardo has been the designer for our site Slotsgeek.com

We have been working with him over the last year doing multiple projects and is one of the best designers I have ever worked with. Everything he does is 100% and he is a very talented designer.

Anyway if anyone here is looking for a high quality graphics designer I strongly recommend him for the job. You can have a look at SlotsGeek. Right now we have the geek dressed in a tux to celebrate our one year milestone, but he does a great job with branding your webdesigns.

Eduardo cant respond to PMs for some reason or post just yet. I PM cityguard to find out why so he has asked me to post this. I know this is an unusual post so GPWA staff if I am breaking rules please let me know. I just know alot of people get burnt in this industry or dont get what they paid for and I think when you find someone who is a stand up kind of person you should let people know.

I think recommendations like this should be made more often. While we all can't share every last secret we've learned over the years, sharing quality vendors to outsource jobs is quite useful.

This design went from initial contact to final product in a week and a half! He was very professional and was able to capture my thoughts and present ideas that are beyond my creative limitations

Did he do the html for you as well from that or was that something you had done elsewhere? Looks nice, BTW!

So, eyenod will create the psd (layered graphics file) and then he subcontracts out the coding (transfer to html). I do wish it were all in-house, particularly if I weren't computer saavy and had the ability to do minor modifications myself. The design itself is pure css and wordpress friendly (I'm having another guy transform it into a full wordpress theme). And the coder deserves a lot of credit as I've looked at it in firefox, IE, and chrome and they are look identical.

He also does the custom artwork - the "mascot" and the logo... plus all the little stuff. He is also providing some ad banners and a "media kit" with things like business cards, letterhead, etc...

And the turnaround time was awesome... Especially considering my limited availability during weekdays.

Insofar as I am concerned you are breaking no rules by posting a recommendation for eyenod. And, in fact, I would encourage more members to make posts like this. because these sorts of recommendations are a very positive contribution from my perspective.

I would also like to encourage eyenod to list his business and the services he provide on the website www.iGamingSuppliers.com.

Listings on that site are free, I we want to include as many suppliers there as possible so the site will be helpful to those trying to find suppliers of various sorts.

One more thing to add:

In addition to the code given, I hired someone (relatively inexpensively) to turn the template into a wordpress theme. Coder turned it around in less than 1 day and became plug and play to have the blog and non-blog portions of my site to look identical. (I prefer to not use wordpress as a CMS).

But ago, credit to eyenod for a design I am very happy with and works so well across all the platforms!

Hope this is the place to put this.......I'd like to give a plug for Dr. Snoop's work. He done the logo for me at CarolinaGambler dot com. (just reworked it this morning) I'm very pleased and the price fit my budget .

Since you are a private member, and since it was certainly pertinent to the theme of the thread, when you make a reference to one of your own sites, you do not have to mask the url in the post.

It fit the theme, and most certainly you could have provided a link to the site since you mentioned it.

I see it's in your sig anyway so I jumped over to take a look and you are right, the logo is nice.

I agree 110%. Eduardo just finished designing a logo for my retail site and I must say he is amazingly talented. He also touched up and added a custom watermark to more than 60 product images and I must say I'm blown away by the improvements.

Just had Eduardo do another site design for me and it rocks obv. The turn around was what impressed me most. Between the convo of the layout and final product it was less than 48 hours which is awesome.

Eduardo redid the design for GamblingSmarts.com - it's not live on the site yet (April 7) but I want to point out the turnaround time was one week - and I know he's got other projects going on! As usual it's a great design and my feedback was taken into consideration to lead to exactly what I was looking for.
