Default Higher addiction rate for Parkinsons Patients?

A study published last year in the journal Neurology found that the prevalence of addicted gambling among Parkinson's patients was 3.4 per cent, which more than doubled to 7.2 per cent among those who take dopamine agonists.

I'd actually like to the science behind this....the way I'm reading the story is that they're more likely to take part in any compulsive behavior, not just gambling...but of course the story doesn't frame it that way.

You'll probably also find that they are more impulsive buyers, drivers, etc, but, of course, there's no story in that!

Inpulse behavior is not only in gambling, but I believe there is a big stereotype in this industry. People want to single out people that gamble online and say that this is the only kind of inpulse behavior.

There are many other kinds of impulse behavior, like spending money, shopping, buying cars, and basically any characteristic that any human does, can become an impulse behavior.

I hate to see these type of stoires that single out gambling as (the only kind) of impulse behavior.
