Hello everyone, I’ve read through many posts on the forum but haven’t found a list of affiliate programs I can apply to. Also, how should I choose the right affiliate program? For example, what should I keep in mind?

search for the words "at any time" in the contract to see how they will **** you.Quote:

As for choosing the right one, I've been here for 20+ yrs and still get suckered into signing up to programs the screw me. My advice is to sign up with a few and see how they do for you, remove those that don't do well and replace them with new ones.
The biggest mistake beginners make is choosing affiliate programs only by commission percentages. A high RevShare means nothing if the brand has poor retention, bad GEO coverage, shaving accusations, or weak conversion rates. You should look at things like payment reliability, manager communication, tracker transparency, negative carryover rules, brand reputation, and whether the products actually fit your traffic source. It’s also smart to start with a few established programs instead of joining dozens immediately, because testing conversion quality matters more than collecting affiliate links.
I'd say do some research on the companies' history. Make sure they've been operating a long time and haven't screwed over their affiliates (and players) in the past.
Researching is key.
If they have history with screwing affiliates - it's best to avoid even though they have a great offer.
Bit of a contrarian take after reading the thread — most of the advice here is "do your research on the program", which is good advice but here's the catch: @fonzi1022 has been in this 20+ years and still gets caught, which kind of proves the point that you genuinely cannot vet a program from the outside. The shaving, the late payments, the term changes, all of that becomes visible only after you're already pushing traffic. The marketing side and the affiliate manager are always going to look polished before you sign up.
What you actually can vet from day one is the product. Open the casino, play around, look at the UX, the lobby, the bonus mechanics, the payout speed, how their support handles a stupid question. If the product feels solid and you'd recommend it to a friend, that's the one to promote.
Two reasons:
better products tend to retain players, which means the economics work for the operator, which means they have less reason to start cutting affiliates to balance their books.
And if they do screw you anyway, at least you weren't promoting garbage — that one matters more than people give it credit for, especially over a long career.
How long a program survives or stays honest is partly outside your control. Whether you're promoting something you'd stand behind isn't. Start there, the rest is calculated guessing.
Search well and see what their customer service and/or account managers will respond. There are far too many programs that don't respond and not only should not be promoted but written off. Choose carefully if you want to build a relationship.

If there are any issues with the initial setup (communication delays, dodgy answers about postclick windows or payment cycles, etc), send that brand to the back of your queue. Prioritize the ones that are at least checking all the right boxes to start.
Once you find some brands that have nice conversion rates for your traffic, you might want to target other brands with similar backends.
Great question and very relevant to me as a new affiliate. I've been focusing on programs that offer both CPA and RevShare options since emerging markets like Nigeria and Brazil can have inconsistent deposit patterns. I've found that programs with dedicated account managers and weekly payouts work best when you're starting out. Also important to check which GEOs the program actually accepts some say "worldwide" but quietly exclude African countries
Lots of great info here. Also keep in mind that a program can go from being good to being garbage at any time depending on who's running it.Quote:

Thanks for sharing this perspective — really useful framing. Evaluating the product itself rather than just the program's reputation makes a lot of sense, especially for affordability and long-term trust with an audience.
I noticed that really solid brands don't reach out to affiliates themselves — they're usually just busy operating their business. While doing that, they openly accept new affs, or review applications closely and reject the ones that aren't a good fit. If they reach out to you first, it doesn't 100% mean they're "bad," but it could be, so it's good practice to do your own research on them first.
