Question How did 2024 revenue compare with 2023 revenue for you?

Now that 2024 has drawn to a close and we're all analyzing our revenue for the final month of the year, it is time to do our annual poll to ask how the affiliate revenue you earned in 2024 compared to what you earned in 2023.

How did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And posts about your thoughts about the reasons for the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds are welcome. Do you think the changes between the two years are due to general business changes, to changes you have made to your sites, to a change in your level of effort, or something else?

This is the sixteenth year we have conducted this poll, so if you'd like to see what folks reported in the fourteen prior years, here are links to the relevant polls:

My earnings from 2024 year showed a slight overall increase compared to 2023. I did experience a significant drop in the third quarter, which had me worried for a while, but fortunately things picked back up and I ended on a better note.

Slightly ahead in the end, although that was largely down to October-December performance which was positive.

I believe earnings depend on many factors, like skills, dedication, and the opportunities you pursue. It varies greatly from person to person, but I'm always focused on improving and growing!

I made more money overall in 2023 than I did in 2024, without any doubt whatsoever. I was making a lot more money up until about 2021 or 2022. That was actually the turning point and things have changed drastically since then and life has started to be a continuous struggle.

I’d also love to hear more from them. We’re constantly bombarded with bad news, new regulations, scams, updates that tank our traffic, and valuable people throwing in the towel and switching industries. It’s refreshing (and necessary, IMHO) to know there are some of us crushing it.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one confused. And I'm ready to adopt their experience, what do I need to do for this?

2024 rev was more than double 2023 revenue, however overall sign ups were 50% less thanks to google updates and other factors. Most of our deals are lifetime revshare which helps, and I believe much of 2024's success was built on the players brought in during 2023.

Hoping to maintain 2024's numbers in 2025, I would've been aiming to double them but the March core update put that to rest. 2025 is off to a flyer though as January was our biggest month ever (narrowly beating December 2024).

2024 was the best year yet for us. A lot of hard work, long hours and traveling paid off. It has set the groundwork for 2025. As an affiliate and recognizing the pains and developing a tool to help affiliates is being recognized and rewarded in 2024.

I used to read a lot of old posts on GPWA and the first posts about the end of affiliation in gambling for many reasons are from 2012. And there were probably some before that, too.

The better question would be how did you perform in 2024 as opposed to 2020-2021 when pandemic started lol
