Question How did the first quarter of 2022 compare with the fourth quarter of 2021 for you?

I forgot to post this regular poll right after the first quarter of 2022 ended, but better late than never.

The first quarter of 2022 ended a little over six weeks ago, so it is now well past time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the first quarter of 2022 (January to March) to revenue from the fourth quarter of 2021 (October to December), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And post your thoughts about the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to changes in the online gaming affiliate marketplace, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, how much to special events, how much to the pandemic, how much is purely random, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

Been a slow start to the year, revenues sluggish pretty much across the board so far.

Interesting report out today that shows that GB betting revenue was down 40% in March which suggests it's a more general issue at present. Cheltenham promotions are cited as one potential reason but we're seeing more winners in general at present.

With the squeeze on disposable income increasingly apparent in the UK (and wider I'm sure) and inflation going bananas, might be a rocky road for a while.

I am seeing increase in revenue, as in my country - Bulgaria have entered a lot of new sites and affiliate programs.

The funny thing is that some operators are online for few years, grab and get some players and all of a sudden, they decide to show up with some interesting affiliate input.

Also Betway have opened BG market, I had an account with them , it is closed now and on my emails - no one asks for account to be reinstated.

However it is an interesting year : after COVID 19 time and the war going on, we will see what will happen next.

Q1 was a good quarter as we see continued growth. Lots of hard work but that's what gets the results.

With all the issues the world is seeing and the direction of the economy the next months will be interesting. Even more reason to be on top of what's happening with your business to make better decisions.
