Question How did the first quarter of 2025 compare with the fourth quarter of 2024 for you?

The first quarter of 2025 ended a couple weekends ago, so it is past time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the first quarter of 2025 (January to March) to revenue from the fourth quarter of 2024 (October to December), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And post your thoughts about the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to changes in the online gaming affiliate marketplace, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, how much to special events, how much is purely random, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

The traffic to our sites have been shrinking badly the last 3-6 months, mostly because of the huge amount of pure black hat sites that have flooded our niche. It seems like Google has given up.

Revenue was largely flat, although it would have been well ahead if it weren't for one specific player on a key account who's been on a strong winning run lately. We'll have to see if his luck turns at some point, or if the bookmaker in question clips his wings.

My net earnings increased slightly compared to the first quarter of 2024. However, the same pattern from last year persists: a brief dip at the start of the year followed by a gradual recovery beginning in late March.

We have continued to see growth quarter over quarter. 2025 is looking very promising.

Honestly, the jump from Q4 2024 to Q1 2025 felt like a total shift in gears. Q4 was the usual year-end chaos—trying to close out projects and hitting those final deadlines before the holidays. But Q1 this year has been all about new momentum and scaling up. It’s definitely been more intense, but in a productive way that makes the end of last year feel like a warm-up!
