Question How did the fourth quarter of 2011 compare with the third quarter of 2011 for you?

The fourth quarter of 2011 ended a week ago, so it is now time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the fourth quarter of 2011 (October to December) to revenue from the third quarter of 2011 (July to September), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And posts your thoughts about the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

For Casino City affiliate revenue grew about 9% in the fourth quarter versus the third quarter. Since the summer is historically a bad quarter for us, in the past we have typically seen greater growth comparing the fourth quarter with the third quarter. So I view what growth there was as being seasonal in nature.

We saw good growth in a lot of areas, but were also boosted by solid earnings from our big performers.
    - Bet365, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, Carbon Poker

    On the downside :
    - Bodog / Bovada / BettingPartners re-organisation has hit their revenues in the first month as players pause to take stock and decide whether to continue playing there
    - BetOnline continues to make a pigs-ear of their online poker offering and drags their brand into dispute
    - Centrebet is taken over by SportingBet and now only offers sports betting to Australian players (dropping all other countries).

But overall a significant boost - around 40% - and we do not usually see any 4th quarter seasonal variance.

This is a great question, especially as folks break it don into brands, or other trends. Very helpful!
I wish i could contribute at this time too, but it's a bit too early to summarize the past month for us
(and already our hands full with the month and year ahead!)
    It's all good
