Question How did the fourth quarter of 2022 compare with the third quarter of 2022 for you?

The fourth quarter of 2022 just ended, so it is time for our regular quarterly poll asking members how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the fourth quarter of 2022 (October to December) to revenue from the third quarter of 2022 (July to September), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

I know for many affiliates the fourth quarter is frequently much stronger with summertime finished in the northern hemisphere. But this year continues to be different than normal with global economic turmoil surrounding the war by Russia against the Ukraine and the lingering impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

And post your thoughts about the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to changes in the online gaming affiliate marketplace, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, how much to special events, how much is purely random, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

You can see the same poll from last couple years here:

For Casino City, affiliate revenue was just about flat between the third and fourth quarter of 2022. I don't think I've seen any two quarters ever that were so close together - the difference was a decline of less than 0.4%. Normally we see an increase in the fourth quarter. My belief is that the global economy, and especially the negative consequences of the Russian war against the Ukraine in Europe are the reason we did not see better results in the past three months.

Shrank a bit. On a positive not, it is great to see some people are growing. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Same here. I used to make much more money, when I first started as an affiliate about 17 years ago. I'm making no where near what I used to. Programs terminating accounts, rogue behaviour and such, has been nothing but an absolute pain!

Grew a small bit, mainly due to increased activity around the World Cup. Not sure I'll say the same about the first quarter of 2023 but we live in hope!
