Question How did the second quarter of 2008 compare with the first quarter of 2008 for you?

We've just completed the second calendar quarter of 2008, so its time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning is changing.

If you compare revenue from the second quarter of 2008 (April to June) to revenue from the last quarter of of 2008 (January to March), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And posts about your thoughts for the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds are welcome. Do you think the changes between the two quarters is due to general business changes, or is it just seasonal fluctuations?

Mine grew ever so slightly, but I am happy to have a slight increase, +1% is always better than -.001! At least the revs were strong enought to fund a new site, renew my urls, buy a new laptop (woo hoo!) and keep me working on to the goal!

My revenue shrank over the second quarter. No great surprises for me though, looking at trends over the years, pretty much the same happens every year and I've come to expect it.

If anything though, this year was probably a bit worse in May/June, which I've attributed to the great spell of weather we had in the UK in May. I'm not worried though - we're back to rain now!!

The only other reason I can see for the decline at this time each year, apart from the weather, is that I generally do a lot less as the fishing season starts!!

My revenue is up over 100%

I can go out and buy two or even three Happy Meals, rather than the one I managed to buy with the first quarter's revenue
