How did the second quarter of 2024 compare with the first quarter for you?

The second quarter of 2024 ended a week and a half ago, so it is time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the second quarter of 2024 (April to June) to revenue from the first quarter of 2024 (January to March), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And post your thoughts about the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to changes in the online gaming affiliate marketplace, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, how much to special events, how much is purely random, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

Revenue grew by about 5% for me. Most of the time, though, it's usually the opposite and I struggle.

Pretty much stayed the same, would have been higher save for 3 separate large wins for otherwise low turnover players.

The Euros boosted activity towards the end of the quarter although it's been a bit lumpy in terms of revenue.

On our websites, because of the SEO Google March algorithm update, our traffic dropped with 40%. The revenue dropped approximately 20% till now.

Interestingly google answered a question on this on their 'office hours' video very recently - available here from 4.56:



Implication is that it's not the affiliate links per se that are the issue, might be worth a dig around the log posts they mention on the video if you can find them.

My revenue was slightly higher, practically the same as the previous quarter. However, the prices of everything keep rising, which gives me this feeling that I've done worse than I have. I guess it's time to reevaluate my cost structure and make decisions to balance things out.

Second quarter was an excellent quarter as we continue to grow and expand. Introduced many new features that customers have been asking for. Rest of the year is look great and busy!
