Default How did you go @ CAP Euro?

So i would suspect that most people would either be in transit or home by now.. unless they were lucky enough to get some extra time off to explore the wonderful place that is Europe (and to you I say lucky things)...

I'm wondering, how did you go?
Did the conference meet your expectations? Was it more than you expected etc?

I have to say I was pretty impressed with the conference as well as everyone I managed to meet.. I had some great conversations and met a couple of people I had been dying to meet finally...

Im interested to see what everyone else thought whether it was your first or 50th conference

For those not home yet or in transit, safe travels

    Cheers

Despite getting a dodgy tummy on the Friday that curtailed my party-ing, I did enjoy this conference - not as much as I would have liked to, mind!

Think it's a real shame about the number of thefts and incidents, both inside the hotel and out.

I really love Barca but agree that if an hotel, organisation or city doesn't 'appreciate' the dollars that we bring in to an event like this then we should look elsewhere for a place we'd be better catered for.

and please....., PLEASE - more freaking bar staff! It doesn't take much to keep us CAPers happy but Bar Staff has got to be up there towards the top!

I have to say, this really did **** me off... I stood at one bar for over half hour, and since I'm a chick, the guys kept getting served before me, until I started shouting over the bar... Then by the time I got served, there was no beer left...

Went over to the other bar and got a beer and the bitch took my chip! Luckily I had another... I really wanted to jump over the bar though... GRRR..

I do have to say at the party on the last night I had no problem getting a drink... mind you I think i knew a lot more people by then so I was getting others already at the bar to grab the drinks for me

I would say exceeded expectations. Made some great contacts, met old ones face to face, got **** drunk (more than once) and drinking the Rioja at the Rewards Affiliates booth! Can it get any better than that? How about eating stuff you have no idea what it was? Aside from the lil twerps and the attempted mugging it was a trip to remember for a lifetime.

I am already checking on London stuff for January and love the fact my true love wishes to attend with me! Can't wait...

    Are we there yet??
