A little info for everyone. Only Private Members are eligible for the GPWA Seal of Approval. Once approved as a Private Member, you need to request a Seal review if you wish to have the GPWA Seal of Approval. The Private Membership review and approval process is a separate process from a Seal review/approval. Being approved as a Private Member will NOT automatically grant you the Seal. Hi Soplica,

There is another option to verify your association with your sites as a webmaster/owner. You can upload a page on the site and note it as GPWA Verification page. Then send Rick, private message with a link to the page. Once he views the page and verifies you created it, he will let you know that you can delete it. This option will pass the "Whois" verification. This should have been explained to you.

I find it extraordinairy cool that one must become a private member, in order to provide the GPWA with a backlink to their site..

If it only actually 'meant' something, that seal.. It might be worth it. But, other than providing a backlink to gpwa, what does it do?

When is the last time you checked all sealed operators if they abide by 'back linking' ethics?

Trying to keep up with that certainly is a chore.

We will look into it and follow up with Paul, and if necessary post up a forum thread for the Private Membership as a whole to help evaluate the situation and conditions of the report.
