Default How long do casinos send out direct marketing to a player who isn't playing?

Just pure curiosity. If a casino (or poker room etc...) sends out direct mail to non-playing accounts, does this go on forever or would there be an expiration date when the account is seen as 'dead'? (eg: people move)

I am sure this depends from company to company.

I still get mails from some sites i have not been logged into in 4 maybe 5 years ! Tower, Hollywood Poker, Betway, Eurobet and Doyles Seems to never give up from what i just remember in my head.

But there is also some sites that NEVER send me mails anymore. Titan, CD Poker, Kiwi Poker, Absolute Poker etc. never send me mails anymore even thoug i have accounts there.

This was just what i quickly remember, there are surely more examples, but i donīt have accounts on every single room

Just to clarify, I meant regular mail through the post. (Wasn't sure if that came across before).

Eg: At what point does the cost outweigh the potential benefits of persuading a player to return?
