Default How many Birthday Cards do you send each Year?

Now if this were a contest and a bookie were willing to take the action, I already and 100% sure who I would place my bets on.....lol

    What inspired this poll?

Simple, I happened to get one today slightly early....

And now that I think about it, unless I am mistaken, I do not think this person has missed one in at least 10 years.

    To the sender.....Thank You.....

I send all my family cards from MoonPig, a little impressonal but a lot quicker than posting something from Malta as they are printed and sent in the UK.

If anyone has friends/family in the UK and live abroad, i'd recommend a great app called touchnote. It allows you to create a postcard using pictures from your smart phone, you can write the message as well and it's printed and sent from the UK as well. I use it to send my grandparents pictures as they dont have the internet or smart phones. It was great when i was in the US, they received our vacation pictures within 2 days.

I rarely send birthday cards and dont mind not receiving any myself. It's not that I hate birthdays, I just dont place any value on the cards - a text or phonecall is just as good!

Didn't know anyone still sends them, but it was nice to get those in the past. The only ones I get now are from my bank and insurance company

I only send a handful of birthday cards every year. I prefer to telephone or text through my birthday wishes.

If I know when an affiliate's birthday is, I'll send them a card.

In the ten years I've been here I have not received a single one in return.

But it's ok, I send them because I know receiving one would make me smile so why not share the love. Something hand written means much more to me than an email. Of course I welcome emails and texts too, but I like to hold on to the cards where people pour their heart out into it so I can read it later. Sometimes it's nice to re read, other times it's heart breaking. It's still nice
