Default How many different forum sites do you use during an average month?

Everyone who receives this newsletter probably uses the forums on the GPWA website. Most of us probably use a number of other forums too. Maybe not as often as the GPWA website, but we use them nontheless.

So for this week's question I thought I'd ask how many forum sites members use in a typical month.

And put in a post here letting us know the forums you use and find helpful.

GPWA, CAP, CasinoMeister. I found that I spent a lot of times on all these forums (more than 4 hours a day!) Now I visit the GPWA every day and active there, and I'm only a lurker on CAP and CasinoMeister (and even as a lurker I have no enough time to read all posts).

Aksana, what you said - exactly the same response - no point in saying it all again

I am spending way too much time in forums these days, GPWA, CAP, PAP, A4U and then some smaller ones - They are really addictive especially if you start searching threads and finding chats from years ago BUT I also believe these are the pulse of the indusrty. I often find out news in a forum before anywhere else

Mostly GPWA, CAP and Casinomeister. Now and then also a software and a QA forum.

I read Webmasterworld and SEOChat about once a month, unless something is happening in the search engines, then more often. SEOchat is probably the more informative of the two, as Webmasterworld has a rather high noise-info ratio.

I visit CAP several times a day. However, I find that when a forum sends me a newsletter or some email I tend to go visit it. The reason I'm here now posting is because of the GPWA newsletter I just received.

GPWA is my main forum. After that would be v7N.com (webmaster forum) and digital point. The later two have grown too big and are diluted with too many noobs, and doesn't offer the same quality content they once used to.

At one time I used to be active in CAP, but since I got a more intimate community vibe from here, I'll just been posting here. (for the most part).

I don't see my forum signatures show up as much on the google webmaster tools as much as I used to.

I visit at least 12 regularly - most on a daily basis.
    Some are strictly "poker" related.
GPWA is always first on my list and then I check back periodically throughout the day.

I try to get around to as many as possible but I spend a few hours here daily, and lurk at the others, I find my available time is rapidly decreasing due to projects and other life related issues. I have started social networking and setting up these has sucked me dry for a few days. Back to list making so I don't piddle my time away and get nothing done but surf.

    Cool

Four affiliate based forums CAP, PAP, GPWA, APCW.

I usually hit the "new threads" button at each on a daily basis and probably read 10% of them if the subject looks interesting.

And participation in a few football/sports betting forums

Mainly, GPWA, tend to lurk around CAP's forum and really like the Affiliate Dog Forum which I plan on being more active. Some solid info over there which is unique and very specific in its help to affiliate webmasters.

Ziggy, please post a link to the Affiliate Dog Forum. I can't find it on search...

    Like to check it out.

I'd say I visit about four forums a month on average.

I average visiting the GPWA a few times a day, and average more than a post a day.

I visit the CAP website at least once a week, and occasionally I'll post something.

After that there are a number of forums I visit on a more occassional basis. In the gaming industry the most common are Casino Meister and PAP. I also visit the vBulletin site with some frequency since we use their software to run the forums here so I like to keep up the latest developments.

My main forum is GPWA , I occasionally post at CAP and GIA ( Brian ( BigB and the boys ) and lurk at Casino Meister just to ensure he isn't posting any more dirt about any of my portals

Seven in all GPWA, Meister, Affiliate Guard Dog, and Digital Point the rest I don’t care to mention. I spread myself out way too thin. My main forum is the GPWA.

I don't come by here as often I probably should, but I really only actively post at two other forums. I do a few "drive by" posts every now and again at a couple others, but the total is no more than 5.
