Default How many gaming portal sites do you operate?

Some gaming portal webmasters operate just a single site, and some operate large numbers of sites. Where do you fall? Do you put all of your focus and energy into building the best site you can, or do you build lots of smaller sites?

I thought it would be interesting to find out what approaches are taken by different members and why.

I wanted to offer my visitors a "one-stop shop" to include all gambling sites collectively (casino, poker, sports, bingo). I think I accomplished that in my first sites.

I will be creating new sites to cover only the niches of online casinos, poker, bingo and sports as seperate online gambling entities.

Just can't seem to build them fast enough.

I currently have one I'm developing into a one-stop-shop and one for sports. For me, its too much work to keep up with too many sites. With all the consolidation in the industry, I have a hard time keeping things up to date... and good affiliate focussed sports affiliate programs are hard to come by these days. I'm seriously considering selling down to 1 site.

    I agree, matted.

Way too many changes going on now. And I suspect this is only the beginning. Would be a tremendous undertaking to keep up with too many sites. I am kinda partial to having a meaningful life in there somewhere.

Casino City runs a little under 10 online gaming portal sites. We have a lot of resources, but still focus primarily on only half of those. I'm a big believer in putting more resources into a smaller number of sites to make those sites top quality. I'm a firm believer in trying to be best in the world on the sites we run, and that is impossible if there are too many balls in the air at once even with a lot of resources.

While I have two, I generally concentrate on my major one because the other is strictly a "niche" site. And I also agree about the time factor and changes coming at us so rapidly.

My major site encompases many gaming avenues - I like that I can morph it at anytime. I can emphasize whats hot at the time and whats popular as needed and convert to global needs while still remaining relatively site-stable.

I have two websites, but my the first site is my main site, where I work very hard, all my efforts are targeted to the first site. It includes 4 directions for players: casino, poker, sports, bingo, and it will be translated in all languages.

I think it's better to have a one site but that it will be one of the best.

The second site was opened only because I wanted a co.uk domain very much.
