Default How much do you rely on Neteller?

The arrest of Neteller's founders and the decision by Neteller to cease offering InstaCash to US players certainly pose questions about the future of iGaming's largest payment processor. If Neteller could not be used to pay affiliates then other payment methods would take its place. How much of your affiliate revenue would be temporarily disrupted if you needed to switch from Neteller to another payment method?

With all the conversation and information over these past months about U.S. banking prevention, I find it hard to believe that the online gaming industry does not have a Plan "B."

I've noticed over recent past legal skirmishes, gaming companies seem to bounce back.

Although, this is a pretty hard hit. I voted. We shall see...

    Ziggy,

I think it is pretty funny that your post above on this thread is the 404 th post you have made. I guess we have 404 - Neteller not found.

I think receiving our own funds is the easy part. I prefer my payments to come via check and snail mail.

The most worrying thing is how many of our players currently use Neteller to play in the casinos and what impact will this have.

I LIVE at NETeller. I've been with them 6 years, am a VIP, and have millions of points accrued.

Neteller doesn't work in my country, so I won't worry about my payments, but it's more important that a lot of players use Neteller how it was said by Doolally.

I receive payments there, I use the peer to peer function extensively, and likely most players use it.

    It is a huge loss.

I rely quite heavily on neteller. It is currently my only method of choice. I will be opening new atlernative methods. I don't think it is safe to rely on one alone at this point. As for players, my feeling is that we will lose some casual players but the seasoned players will find a way.

It is the only electronic payment most aff programs offer. Looks like now I have to choose between wire and cheque. Both are much slower, but I'm more worried of raising flags at my bank. For me to import money once a month from neteller looks a lot less suspicious than a couple hundred from casino A, a couple hundred from poker room B, and worst of all, at least a couple hundred from sportsbook C.

    Unhappy

I think this is probably going to be the downfall of most US affiliates doing business in online gambling. Right now, I don't know what to do. I use Neteller extensively for receiving affiliate payments and online gambling, but now all that is moot. It's like there is only one thing left to do, just close up shop. I hadn't wanted to do that, but now I just don't know if might not just be best at this point. I have a few pretty good programs, but without Neteller for US citizens (which is still most of my clientele) they won't be making much money anyway. I am just so depressed right now.

I know how you feel, Matt. I've just been checking my affiliate sites payments options and changing those that I can. (I may need roller skates to and from the bank, of course, if the teller asks me who CRIS is, I may say my Uncle - LMAO).

However, like a chameleon, this industry has always had the ability to quickly adjust to circumstances. I am confident they will.

    Default hi

I dunno but Click2pay stinks!! I sent an email to their customer service 7 hours ago and still haven't received a response. I called them 7 hours ago and no one answered the phone. I called them 20 minutes ago and no one answered the phone. Not to mention you have to give them your social security number when signing up. I wouldn't recommend them at all for a payment method!!

Hey, I know exactly how you feel on that. It's such BS and still has me fuming. I watch my site stats go up and up each month as does my affiliate income, now I need to see it come to a crashing halt because our gov wants to basically tell us what to do. So much for democracy. If this thing was left up to the people of the US, absolutely there would be no ban. It's absurd. Anyway... I am still unsure on what to do with any of this.

I as well does not use neteller as they don't support clients from my country, am currently using click2pay, so far so good.

I think my affiliate earnings are going down the drain starting from this month, am sure alot of my users are using neteller
