Can anyone give an opinion based on either their opinion or facts if you can get that keyword into the first page of google. I know the term used to go for around 25 to 30 dollars a click on adwords.

Hi,
well I can't speak for ever having it in google. but my sources tell me its surprising how less its worth than one would think.
its nearly impossible to judge a keyword's worth on natural results when compared to what you pay on PPC because .... again .... just what i'm told but i trust my source ... the traffic is no where near what it is when you're paying for it on a PPC. this is for major keywords such as you asked.
just what I can offer. I may have been led wrong but i doubt it.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

Funny i was told the opposite, that organic traffic converts at a much higher pace than ppc traffic because people dont think they are being forced by a paying ad to go to a site.
Interesting.
Keep em coming guys.
I would say that while it "might" be a popular term - it sounds like a newbie or tyre-kicker term and so may not have that much value ?
I mean "best online casinos"? Really?
If someone is typing that into a search engine then how much do they really know about it all - and how much are they going to be spending?
Now - how about a term like "best single deck blackjack" or even "no download roulette spins" ?
To me that sounds like an experienced player looking for action

www.onlinexcasinos.com is in 7th position with "best online casinos", and untill now it don't have done 500 $.

review exchanges with websites about casinos on blog.onlinexcasinos.com.
All i know is that adword advertisers were paying up to 30 bucks per click for the term until gambling ads were banned, so it was teh highest paying gambling term. I have heard of people making 20k or more for the top 3 spots.
Your totally right! The keyword phrases and how they relate to the mind set of an experienced gambler are just starting to sink in.
Priceless observation Gooner. If I would have started with that mentality 8 months ago I'd be much better off now. I spent months concentrating on the wrong keywords. Even now, I've only got a hint of the ones that convert.. but I still have a long way to go.
We are ALL always learning mate.
But as we've discussed by thinking hard about what it is that people might be searching for and what jargon they might type in then we should improve.
We get a lot of "longer tailed" search terms now - and seem to be seeing a much higher percentage of signups to depositors as a consequence.
But it's still hard to tell the real casue and effect as I have yet to find a system that can link up an inbound search term with a definative player at the other end.
By this I mean :
- I know what search terms hit us.
- I know where we send them.
- I know my daily results at partners
But I still can't say :
- search term A
- goes through my sitepath B
- visits partner site C
- and results in account D
(which would obviously be the best)
But yes - since we've been targetting experienced gambler jargon rather than the freebie novice, we have seen much better bottom line results.
GL with your site.

Honestly I stopped thinking about my positions in Google several months ago. Now I'm thinking only about my content: how I can improve it, what I should add new, how to make my site more interesting for visitors - of course it's difficult, but I think I'm on a right way.
I just read this article about: Google's Paid Search vs. Organic
Results – A Rickety Wall of Separation

well, let me put it to you this way.....in yahoo uk the keyword "free bet" is worth about 5 pounds at the most, and thats really popular over there.....maybe just casino is worth as much as you say...but not that word combo...
I just did a competition analysis using the tool Web CEO. It says the estimated average CPC is between $2,01 and $2,71, and estimated clicks per day: 14-15. Although I wouldn't pay anything for this keyword, I have voted for $500 or more (It should be actually $500 or less).
