You just don’t keep spending a lot of money. You have to check whether your money will bring any effect or not. You can hire any SEO professional for help too.
You can't spend zero...you hace to pay for your domain, hosting, some post, keyword research...etc, etc...
I think spending $300 per month is ok to start a solidus Internet Business.
Regards.
So many lies in this thread, lol.
Of course if you have a 10+ year old website like Gooner than, no you won't have to spend money on SEO.
At the same time though, it's not unusual for the top affiliates to be spending 50k a month or more.
"They are idiots!" you say - well I'd rather spend 50k a month and make 7 figures, then spend none because "SEO isn't about inflating results" and earn 20k.

I think people in gaming who spend money with a SEO company to help them, are usually wasting their money. Mostly because normal SEO companies are general good at fixing general SEO issues, but gaming is way to competitive and bigger sites have big budgets to work with.
Now all webmasters should be investing in "in-house" SEO - IE: Links, Content, etc -
C'mon Gary really? There is some useful posts here granted, but the notion someone can learn "ALL" they need to know here is silly. Let's not mis-lead peopleYou can learn everything you need to right here.

Oh I dunno about that, I got some pretty useful free advice here recently. Went from not ranking at all in google to ranking #12 for 'online casinos' just by removing some banners and javascript. Cost = $0
Congrats...and totally agree!
The wealth of free SEO information given by GaryTheScubaGuy is priceless IMO. The fact he speaks at numerous industry conferences, not to mention being, the offical GPWA SEO advisor should signal he's no fool when it comes giving sound advice in way to improve both on and off page SEO.
If people still doubt this, go hire some mainstream SEO'er. But when you either get shafted or end up on page 300 of Google...don't forget we tried to tell you GaryTheScubaGuy is the best thing since sliced bread - all this for free!
Cheers

Hello everybody,
This is my first post on the GPWA forum.
I'm just starting and for now I don't spend any money on SEO.
It's just a hobby for me but I enjoy learning about aff market. This is truly the best place to learn
The question is not how much you spend on SEO, but what results you are getting?
Spending $1000 and not ranking/no visitors = NOT GOOD
Spending 0 and not ranking/no visitors = NOT GOOD EITHER
Spending $5000 and getting $6000 = GOOD
It's not a black and white question, how much you are spending does not directly correlate with how much you're earning.
Also keep in mind that SEO Services vary. Competitive Research Analysis, On-Page Optimisation, Off-Page Optimisation, Content Writing, Link Building, Directory Submissions, Development to name but a few ....
Learning basic SEO is a must (so you don't get cheated), whether you hire someone to optimise your web properties or not is a choice. Choose wisely!

If you need links of high quality you have to be ready to spend $X XXX monthly at least. As you might know, 1 text link on the homepage of PR3 website costs approximately $300 USD.
In former times I spent approximately $10 000 USD monthly to promote my websites.
Currently I spend twice less.
Manage casino and poker related websites of high quality. Can help you in link building
as little as possible...aside from the cost of hosting and domain names, the only things i part with my hard earned for are links and software....bit of a software freak and like trying different approaches....
Enter a fantasy realm of Wizarding wins and giant jackpots at WizardSpins.com, an online casino portal filled with the latest casino bonuses and free spins.
I tend to set a min of £100-£200 a month. If I go over it I don't mind, as income outweighs the expenditure so it justifies the expense
About $50k/month driving traffic...whatever that may or may not mean.
$50k, good grief, hope you're seeing decent returns on that. That's $600,000 over the year![]()
I think a decent amount would be somewhere between 20% or 30% of net income per site.
I generally do not use that rule and do allot less right now but I think its a good start IMO.
Myself I average $1000-$1500 per month
I spend 0 but that is because I don't have money. I'm new on this and i notice that I have to work a lot more if I'm trying not to invest money. Maybe a veteran in this market can tell me I'm wrong but for now that is what I have seen.
Its all about links and in this niche, no link is free.
It either costs time or money to get links... and time is money. So it costs money![]()
