It would be interesting to know how you re-use your tweet messages, if at all, and what do you know about the reaction of your followers when they receive the same tweet more than once?
Only once because otherwise I risk losing followers
Several times a day. No evidence of losing followers due to re-use
Once everyday. It works well for me
Once every week. I don't think that disturbs anybody
At regular intervals with a gap of several days / week
At random intervals

I never tweet the same thing more than once on the same account. It appears spammy to me when others in my timeline do it, so I don't do it. I don't unfollow people who do it unless they go over the top with it. I have three businessey twitter accounts and two social ones, and sometimes if a tweet is appropriate for more than one account I will tweet to two (or more I guess) accounts at the same time, but very few of my followers follow more than one of my accounts.
I sometimes re use the tweet if I an event is coming to close to it starting time or day.
I also re tweet, just in case the marketing message didnt get to the audience.
I wont retweet just a general musing or thought.
once everyday is the best..
Who actually looks at Twitter?
Really

A very legit question. I used to think that the number of your tweets retwitted by others will give you an idea of how often your tweets are looked at. But, now I know that your tweets can be retwitted automatically by tools, so this is also no reliable evidence.
The only reliable evidence, in case of an affiliate, are the clicks generated by the tweets. I don't think that can be automated.
