How often do you social bookmark?

I bookmark EVERY single post on my websites. For example, for JustArsenal.com: I post 3 or 4 original news stories to my blog. I then send them to Twitter (500 followers so far) via Twitter Tools, this then posts automatically to my facebook account (2500) followers. Each post is automatically posted to 15-ish websites by Onlywire.

I also post occasionally to over 400 other bookmarking sites (some NoFollow, but most are DoFollow) - see my signature...

I get about 50 hits a day from this, so its a tiny percentage of my visitors, but more importantly, it has definitely increased my SERPs over time.

But more important there is no work involved so why ignore it if it cant do you any harm?

I now have 3 facebook accounts growing, and four twitter accounts for different websites. Every little helps!

I do this every day at yahoo buzz, stumbleupon, digg, reddit and twitter but I don't think it is super effective. Stumbleupon seems to bring in the most traffic but like someone already mentioned, it isn't targeted enough.
