How to promote online casinos under strict rules?

Hello all,

I am new to the forum and really honored joining GPWA.

First of all I would like to excuse my English as it is not my native language.

I manage a Greek casino news/strategy website which is officially “on air” for about a year and half.

The difficulty we have here in Greece with the Gambling Commission is that we are forbidden to use all the juicy words such as “bonus”, “play now” or mentioning betting and winning amounts in order to promote an online poker room.

We are just allowed to use some general phrases such as “Company Name”: Legal game.

It is also forbidden to prompt players to register to an online casino by writing phrases such as “Make your registration now”.

This situation makes our job for registrations a very difficult task and I would like you to give me some advices on how to make a good promotion under strict rules like those I mentioned.

Could you focus more on just getting the visitors to visit the casino sites directly, so they can "read more" or verify the information you are telling them is correct? Or maybe they can "visit the site" in order to investigate further if they think they would enjoy the game....or that they should be sure to "read the official information" or something along these lines that are not completely vague but encourage the player they really should visit the site.

I admit I have not up on how restrictive the guidelines are that need to be followed so maybe more detailed responses will point you in better directions.

The “visit the site” to “read more” is a strategy we currently use but the problem is that the subject our visitors read from us does not have interest for the readers to go further.

For example, most online casinos offer some daily free spins.

Unfortunately, “free spins” is not allowed for us to write it and promote it. So the whole promotion gets ruined and losses the whole meaning.

If we make a slot review, we cannot write about betting amounts or jackpots or “bonus” rounds. Just the scenario, the symbols and the graphics.

Very difficult to attract new users to “visit the site”.

Yes we use a Greek domain extension (.gr) and our affiliated online casinos warn us also to be careful due to the huge fines from the gambling commission.
