Default Huge scandal in daily fantasy sports industry

The main DFS companies, FanDuel and DraftKings, are under harsh scrutiny from the mainstream media -- and now regulators like the New York Attorney General's office -- for a scandal involving employees possibly using private data to gain an edge playing DFS contests on other sites.

Here's the story from the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/06/sp...id=tw-bna&_r=2

Another fail for self-regulation. Now we will likely see a push for regulation that will probably be overreaching and will jeopardize what affiliates do in the vertical.

A statement from Draft Kings states the employee locked his lineup before he looked at the data. Oh, ok.

While it's apparent that some sort of accountability is needed, Anthony's correct. Here comes over-regulation. Draft Kings shot itself in the foot.
