I’m fuming mad!

I can’t believe it to night I stepped out of my kitchen and this young guys run a way from my truck, I went there and I can smell paper burning I checked my truck the gas filler cover it was open, the guy try put my truck on fire. I don’t get it! He was going to blow my truck up for no reason or do they need a reason now days?

That is horrible, I don't understand people like that at all.

As for calling the cops, it's my experience that police in Canada don't investigate vandalism or theft, so I don't think that will do much but you never know.

I've had my car vandalized 3 or 4 times over the past few years, so I know it can be frustrating, but that is just over the top.

That is just terrible! It's very sad that there are people that would do something like that just to be hateful like that.

I remember one year on my sister's BD in January, there was a snow storm and I had to get some things from the liquor store on the way from work for her so I pulled right up infront of the store, in the fire lane, and left my car running and when I came out two minutes later all I saw were the tire tracks leading to the road!

My car was gone! Needless to say I felt like an idiot, but they did fine my car several hours later with minor damage. Turns out a guy had just got out of jail down the street and happend to see my stupid move and took advantage of it.

That is so traumatizing to have someone do that to you. I hope you called the police anyway. If they don't get them early, they just do worse next time. They won't stop on their own.

Gam, I live in one of the few places where I can actually get away with that. I often leave my car running when I make a quick trip to the store in the cold. I feel for you though, that you can't do that. Some ppl seem to think if you leave something for a minute, it must mean you don't want it. That guy felt more at home in jail, and wanted to go back!

I did call the cops they came in two seconds but I was late calling them and from what they told me the kids burned a car up the street last night. We are on a main street and the park is across leading to the beach, these A-holes come down here to get drunk, graffiti and break everything, in the summer some times they come here in big numbers like 400 of them I have seen 15 cruisers trying to stop them but they where every where. Even the local coffee shop that was open 24hrs they close at 11pm now, I hope our house sells soon so we can get out of here, is good neighborhood but the yuppies moved in first now the GenX moved here too all they want is to have money, a million dollar homes and nannies to look after the kids.<O</O

Thats tragic news. I would set up a security camera pointing to your truck and at least if they try again you will have them on tape. Then at least if they succeed you can get your insurance and have the little punks pay restitusion for their deed. Sorry to hear this indeed.
