Default If you weren't affiliate or affiliate manager, what would you be? :)

    Hello

I think that we're all pretty lucky working in this industry, full of cool people! At least, I consider myself lucky

I got into it while I was still studying law, which I was pretty in love with. But, slowly, but surely, my interests and crush started turning to gambling industry and my job, which was just a temporary idea in the beginning. I wanted to have a job until I finish the college and then I intended to be a lawyer
Today, I'd probably be one, if my paths didn't go other way..

What would you do for a livin' if you weren't in this industry and what's your original profession?

i'd still be working in a warehouse probably. i worked in a tile warehouse for 11 years before doing this, driving fork lifts, picking orders all the usual stuff. picking was hard, 15-20 tonnes a day each stacking by hand

no, sports betting was my interest. posted about my last job before. I worked 5am-1pm monday to thursday and 4am-12pm friday, loved the early hours. wasn't the greatest of jobs and worked with a large proportion of lazy dickheads but there were some good lads as well and I do miss the banter you can only get when young lads are all working together in a "rough" job.
A new boss came in and was making sweeping changes to the place, for the worse, so I decided to leave, best thing i did as not only did i make a success all the people still at my old job say the place is a lot worse these days.
i was a team leader as well which made the place worse, i've always had a good work ethic and can't stand lazy people, and that place bred lazy bastards

I was in advertising before (I guess I still am!) so I'd be in advertising!

I used to be a web developer before I worked at Rewards. I don't think that would be what I'd be doing if I never started here.
I get bored very quickly which is why this industry is kinda good as it keeps things interesting.

If I never worked here, I think I'd have found something to start my own business. I may have even become an affiliate.

If I left here, I'd buy a gym.

Not sure if somehow that would have been the business I'd have had if I never started here, but you never know I guess.

I was a good holding midfielder back in the day, but never made it to the pros, even played second division Futsal.

Speaking of real careers, I have a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature, but never quite enjoyed the teaching profession. Probably would have worked as a translator or something like that.

Eh... i was a soldier. Officer (Captain when I leaved in 2006), Spec Ops (like american seals).
In 2005 our team were involved in a cruel attack in Iraq (eod + mg fire). It was like to be in hell... Five seriously injured (also myself) and one died (one of my best friends). I leaved in early 2006 and come back at university (Informatic engineer... still studying lol). In the meantime, i founded FeC. The rest is story...

If I weren't an aff? Probably... all but not a soldier. My wife would kill me

What I am is a professional organizer and instructor in the corporate conference, hospitality and team building industry, 22 years now! Pretty hectic and demanding stuff, as well as very physical (the team building part). Would love to be able to get to the point where I can be a full time affiliate, much easier earning an income from an armchair I reckon although affiliate work is hard on the eyes and fingers LOL. This is my long term goal.
