iGB Affiliate - The biggest magazine and events for affiliates in igaming
So what was the criteria for an affiliate website being listed? 6 pages of dupe content a top 10 table and 150 words of text? lol
iGB Affiliate - The biggest magazine and events for affiliates in igaming
Casino, could be wrong but it looks like the guy who was running hacked links on goverment and uni sites "destroyed by google never to return" has launched another site with same original name and format.. There are a lot of these people on the board rofl right now.. you should never of posted here lol
If it converts the best it's doing something right, you've just completely simplified PPC to set up a campaign and press start. Which couldn't be further from the truth in the casino niche.
Agreed - I think this time you may have to admit you are wrong - they are one of the biggest and most successful affiliates in the casino market and its through the new system that they have made the top 7.........

No, My comment said was more of a question to understand what the criteria is, which your response was "if it converts the best", so the criteria is not for the visitor but towards the casino site itself? best website is very general, to me Wizard of odds would be the best as it actually delivers real readable usable and helpful content and has a high return rate loyal following and am pretty certain targets the higher end of the casino market.

Depends on what they search for, people who search for online casinos want tables and reviews for them
to form a decision, not 2000 word articles on the pros and cons of utilising bitcoins while playing at online casinos..
top10 serve the purpose of driving traffic which at the end of the day is what we're all in business for, we don't get paid per view or based on how many people return to the site, we make money based on referrals and by that basis these are probably one of the best in the casino niche.
Below is the criteria - taken from under "criteria" here http://www.igbaffiliate.com/awards/igb-affiliate-awards - The next stage is for the shortlisted companies to submit a detailed application against this criteria which the judges will mark specifically against with allocated points
The judges will be marking against example criteria such as the below:
- How has your business grown over the last 12 months?
- What positive changes have you implemented and how has this changed your business?
- How have you increased the volume and quality of your traffic?
- How have you innovated in the last 12 months?
- How has your rankings changed over the last 12 months?
- How have you increased your brand power over the last 12 months?
- How have you improved your relationships with your affiliate programs in the last 12 months?

nice one WonderPunter ,
btw Alex , it seems that a lot of the Voting panel you chose this year HAS NO CLUE about what a site should have, should do or should look in terms of getting there.
Anyway ... I met a lot of "newbie" affiliate managers ..so no wonder. After 3-5 years "experience" they still don't know sh.it about this industry ...
I had a quick look. It looks a bit better than last year, but I see for example Betsson for best affiliate program at some program or MyLotto.com. At least it looks way better to me than last year.
If there's one "criminal" on the list, then it is a bad list (there's no "better" involved). At a quick glance, I see two programs (one in the affiliate category and one in the programs) that have closed their affiliate programs down or shut affiliates out and left their brands open.
I've already lolled at (ahem I mean looked at) these in the other thread.

Every criminal, shaver or dodgy program on the list, is one too much of course. At a quick glance it looked better to me than last year. Although less worse is perhaps a better word choice.
I also see on the list:
- Betsson: know for years for threatening affiliates in a bad way, closing accounts, put legal pressure on affiliates, etc
- My Lotto: they're new, but made a very poor impression to me. They offered people flat fees, but in the end it was money they anyway had to pay already to players because of old players still generating revenues.
