In terms of LAC, the Excel centre where it’s been hosted recently has been converted into a makeshift ‘Nightingale’ hospital, so unless that gets dismantled then a new venue will be needed. It’s not being used massively at present, but I’d guess they may keep it in situ as contingency for the winter and the potential for season flu & Covid to increase demand on the NHS.

It's interesting you say that since they are already starting to book in exhibitors at excel for LAC.

Excel will be loosing a lot of money. They probably want to open up for normal business as soon as possible.

As everyone they don't know how the virus will evolve and spread. Depending on if there will be a second and/or third wave...

There will be definitey a seconf wave on the begining ot autumn.

The problem with Excel now is that it is the biggest hospital in London ( I would not want to go there definitely in the next couple of years there).

A lot of people pray and want to go t Sigma 2020 , but as per now if you land there and there are allowed flights it will be 14 days of quarantine , meaning you can dream about the show only.

Either way is to make yourself a text showing you are not harmed/ infected.

2021 summer time for Amterdam - maybe there is 10 % chance sightly something to happen...

I bet that Excel are not losing money. The government are probably paying big bucks to use it

Seems that the NHS were going to be paying big bucks but Excel changed their mind:https://www.bbc.com/news/business-52172007

It is very nice that Excel does not charge the NHS. But for how long can they keep doing this? After months of no income and nobody knows how long this will go on, they will probably change their mind.

    Announcement RE: Show

    Hi all,

Due to the delay of iGB Live, and it now being on 22-25 September, we have decided to merge both shows into one rather than having a show in September and October.

So unfortunately there will be no show in Berlin this year. But all the things we had booked for Berlin will now go into iGB Live.

Real shame about Berlin, was looking forward to that this year before it all kicked off but understandable given where the world is at right now.

Same issues for Malta SIGMA too. They will wait till the last minute to announce something, but this will not change the situation. I mean: you still need to book etc etc...and you need time to do those things

We are confident it will go ahead. The RAI is already running events and we have everything booked. You can see a list of exhibitors here: https://www.igblive.com/exhibitors-25l6

So unless there is another big wave of COVID or somethings unpredictable in Europe we are all good to go.

Great news, I didn't really fall in love with Lisabon.
