    Default IGB Barcelona - 2026

It gets earlier every year, or feels that way.

Is it wrong to start booking flights and hotels for the show?

Any good tips / suggestions for hotels near the Fira?

Last year, everything was pretty much booked out a fews weeks before and prices skyrocketted, so booking early is a good idea.

Book somewhere that has easy access to the Metro line that goes through FIRA.

Last year I stayed in an Air BNB in the student quarter on the line heading towards the nou camp. It was quiet, with local resturants and bars for the local population, not tourists, so felt much safer walking around. It was 10 mins to the venue on the metro which was also the same line feeding the airport.

it might be dependent on what day Las Reyes lands on, big Spanish hoiliday, but usually Barcelona is built to hold lillions in peak season so normally its pretty cheap, been a couple of years since I've been though.

Great advice, I'll check that out. Read a few reports saying tourist numbers are down in Barcelona and Spain across the board. So hopefully a few deals to be had.
