Default best site to sell websites

I am thinking of selling my bingo site.... I googled "sell website" and found a couple of sites that sell websites.... A few claim to be the best - of course....

Does anyone know what is the best site or sites to sell websites? I want to sell the whole business, and not just the domain name.... I thought maybe there were 1 or 2 that most people use(an ebay of selling websites if you will)....

    Thank You In Advance,

I would use an escrow service such as sedo.com if your site is worth a lot of money.

Sedo was one of my choices.... It says it is FREE?

Any other suggestions anyone or is sido the one to use?

The worth of my site it is the big question? Hopefully I can find someone who sees the potential....

Sedo is free to setup the account, but they charge 10% of the selling price with a minimum fee of $50.
I have sold names there before and you make money while it's parked. I highly reccomend them.
If anyone wants to sell their names, please shoot me an email with your traffic stats and price.

BTW, I don't think this is the topic that this gentleman started, so we may want this in it's own discussion. With saying that, have you sold your name yet?

sorry - He was talking about selling his site, so I thought I would talk about where we could both sell our sites.... It seemed close enough on topic?

If I sell I am going to sell the whole bingo site together - so no I haven't sold the name seperate....

A while back one of the webmasters here had a good experience using SitePoint. I can't say much about it aside from it having been brought up here from the one sale before, though.

Gary, I didn't mean to sound like you in particular was taking the thread off subject, I was more pointing at myself for rambling and answering someone elses question in his thread.

Hello starbuckssports, I have interest to buy your site, pls PM me your price.

    Few question:
    1) How the site can made you $5k per month? It look simple.
    2) What your mean agent packages?

    Thanks.

I'd be interested BUT I am extremely skeptical because your site's content and PR doesn't coincide with $5000 per month. No disrespect, but it simply doesn't make sense.. Can you help me understand (and to others).. how your site which PR looks like 0.. with it's present content is pulling in $5000 per month?

Thank you in advance for clearing this up.. becuase if there is a plausible reason, then you'd find a lot of potential buyers here.

    Cheers!

I bet the Starbucks coffee chain would be quite interested in seeing that their legally protected name is being used on a gambling portal.

I wouldn't touch this at any price, and would advise the same for anyone else.

All that is nothing, but problem is that affiliate programs now have good chance to get some "extra" money... i've already heard about declines in payouts for September due to new bill :/

Your Investment money will be back in less than 2 months, Once the sell is complete the new owner is 100% responsible for the hosting and bills for the site and maintaining it.

I would be careful dealing with startbucksports owner who goes by the name AK on various gambling forums such as ThRX,EOG,SBR and others which he is banned from for his scamming of any one dumb enough to fall for his BS.

AK is a well known and documented scammer who buys and sells stolen data bases, has sold other sites and misled those buyers with his phoney figures and numbers.

You will regret any business dealing you will encounter with this known scammer and stiff.
