Default Increasing traffic to my site

I'm trying to increase traffic to my site but it's not easy. We are putting a lot of effort in content but we definately need some sort of boost. Anyone has any suggestions? It's not easy to market a gambling portal.

We have now purchased 10K visitors with webtrafficgeeks, which I am hoping that increases the activity. Has anyone ever worked with them? Any feedback? I will let you know how my campaign goes once it's completed.

Just by buying traffic tells me you are new.. None of these bulk traffic suppliers work.. perhaps in the 90s there might of been some success.. but now its money down the Drain.. yes gambling is a tough niche.. yes it takes a lot of work, if you want to compete with the guys on this forum then expect to work harder than they do. realistically it could be 3-9 months until you start seeing a good amount of traffic there is no quick fix so save your $$ and get working

Make sure Your site is responsive, use social media channels to promote and submit Your content to aggregator sites. Should help.

Totally agree about good content and that you have SEO in mind all the time, but really.. 10 articles a day.. Are you referring to 10 pcs 300 word articles then? Anyone else that can verify that 10 articles a day is a must?

Verify that 10 articles a day is a must?[/QUOTE].. Ok IM not saying 10 Articles a Day is a Must I am saying that this would bump your site up faster than a 10 a week update for example.. also no need to do 300 Words either .. There is so Much to write about depending on the casinos you represent you could do game reviews that's plenty of content there.. Vip program reviews.. Banking reviews .. Support Reviews .. General reviews .. News On the gaming Industry etc Im sure a Good Content Writer would be bale to stick 10 New fresh Write ups without too Much fuss

My advice is keep chugging on with content but make sure the fundamental SEO factors are dealt with. Maybe good to get some perspective on SEO?

I am really putting an effort on this site and got some key people to help as well. It's tricky since it's hard to see results and keep the motivation high. The site has been live since April and got some organic traffic so I guess I need to stick in there and have more patience

I think it's quite odd that I received 5k visitors and none registered to any casinos when webtrafficgeeks promised to send visitors interested in gambling.

I hope your joking? If it were even slightly possible to buy bulk traffic that actually would get a single casino player everyone here would be all over it

$70 worth of traffic and you wanted a sign up? you can throw $5,000 and you still wont make a penny.. That little idea you had about getting rich quick has probably vanished by now, reality it it takes hard work and time.. there are no short cuts and those that try usually burn up domains and sites before they even get started... Spend some more time on this board and educate yourself with what's needed to become a success..

Good points. End of the day everyone's looking for a quick fix, there isn't one. Work hard is the fix, educate yourself, experiment, learn, apply knowledge, innovate, INVEST.

On the plus side with the OP, you tried something and it failed, you tried to buy some crappy traffic and it didn't work , you didn't get signups, so you've lived and learned that maybe that method won't work for you at this moment. Better to try something and fail than just talk about it or think about maybe doing it.

CCIndex, you may think this is just a newbie question you asked, but you actually asked the most difficult question in the entire online industry. "How to increase traffic, without spending too much, and getting traffic that will convert". As you can see, people don't know the answer.

You need a lot of willpower to make it in this industry and to persevere for long enough to see success.

I am not the biggest expert for sure, so there are only 2 things I can state assertively.

    1. As many said above me, buying traffic is money down the drain. Definitely not the answer.

    2. You need to put in the work and have patience. That is something everybody will say to you. If you don`t think you want that, perspectives are bleak.

Write quality content and focus on keywords. Write often. All in all, keywords are where the big traffic comes and more importantly, where the converting traffic comes, if you do it right (I`m not doing it too right myself).

Some link exchanges with good websites can help at the start, but obviously without overdoing it. Our niche is indeed tough and anything helps. You can even put your link in the signature here at gpwa and write useful stuff when you have something to say, it`s a start. Sorry if I seem to treat you like a rookie, just trying to help.

I`m a betting tips guy, so I`m writing from my perspective.

I do not suggest you to enter this niche now if: you don't have a sufficient budget to invest in high quality for your site (marketing is secondary), study how visitors interact with it and make it responsive accordingly, write contents that gamblers will find at least interesting or useful (quality over quantity), keep it updated, choose the correct affiliate programs and target them intelligently (e.g geo-redirect).. maybe you could have success. Really forget old 'easy' times.

Don't spend your money to buy traffic. It is the same thing as you dropped out them from your window. All of those auto-traffic tools are scam (fake and bots). Maybe you will have for a short time some better results on your Alexa (only) numbers! That's all. And you will have plus a negative SEO effect. DON'T DO IT!

You have to focus your site on a very specific target to get a high quality visitor !
