    ---40 have near zero balance
---9 gave little negative balance near 20 $ each
---10 gave negative balance near 100 $ each

We have an account with one bookmaker that is negative to the tune of more than 10,000. Unbelievable sequence of winning bets apparently. There must be some happy players out there!

What we did was to contact the bookmaker and discuss with them, and eventually just opened a second account and refer all new players to that. The first account is still alive so if the punters start to lose and it goes positive we will still be credited, but not holding my breath on that one personally.

Maybe you can try the same. Good luck.

If I received a negative $14,000 balance from a program that has a negative carryover policy, I would remove it from my site until the balance is out of the red.

my question is: DOn't you find very "strange" the fact that in 100 players only 19 are losing players while 35 are winning or very very big winning players
I would be less surprised if i had the same negative balance due to one big winner, but for me it is very weird to have so many winning players.
We are not talking of one lucky player or two or three, here we have 100 players....Normally i would expect that a bookmaker earns from his players .

yea, I have a negative carryover at one bookie that is simply huge and doesn`t seem likely to go away. Can`t stop promoting the bookie as it`s one of the best. Nice suggestion JJ_LBO, hope we can build more traffic to that certain affiliate program in the coming months so we can do a similar legitimate request.

    I HATE negative carryover.

What timeframe are those sums over? If it's short term and there were unfavourable sporting results for bookmakers (let's say, all the players were all new and started betting each way on this weekend's golf on popular players), you could expect that kind of result in the short term. But in the long term, those are unfortunate and unlikely stats to have (unless you're running an arbing site or something similar that encourages non-normal betting).

Hi paddypowerluke, timeframe is 6 months, it is not an arbing site.
Other bookmakers sponsored in the same website have normal balance.
Do you think is it possible to see single bets placed by customers?

Hi Mark, sounds strange and could be worth asking your affiliate manager about - but you could have just got unlucky. I don't know about other affiliate software, but with Netrefer you are able to see individual customers' daily activity (not the exact bets they've placed, but a P/L for that day, per product).

Look at the best of big winners:
in 6 months placed 50 bets, he won 40 times and lost 10 times. I would not be surprised if his bets would be on easy targets, but it is not! because i must suppose odds are high because when he win he win hundreds of $ (average winning 250$ ), when he loose he loose near 40$ (average lost 40 $)
How can a human bet 50 times on events with an odd over 5 and wins 40 times????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What would you do ? my affiliate manager simply said he cannot show single bets...

Could be that he bets high amounts at lower odds for the winning bets?
Otherwise like you say, assuming his average bet amount is $40 and winning 80% of the time at odds of 5.0 or 6.0 that is a pretty insane success rate.

I wouldn't say it is impossible, because it works out to ~2-3 bets per week and they may just be very selective and winning on horse racing or greyhound races where it isn't super rare to see winners at those odds. But it's strange that only one of your programs is attracting this type of punter, as you say none of the others are experiencing the same.

I'd recommend you keep an eye on it and see if it continues, discuss it with your AM to find out as much as possible as well.

    Hi.

If the program has no negative carryover then you're okay. Players winning current month will return to continue playing on next month and probably with higher bets.

If the program has negative carryover you will have to make a decision:

1- If you trust the program would be best to continue promoting it to improve balance faster. (This would be my personal choice)
2- If you do not trust the program, (I believe this is your case) stops promoting it and try to clarify the situation with your affiliate manager.

By the way, I'm not expert in SportsBooks. Mine are the online casinos. But in this business greatly influences the luck factor. The results you showed not seem impossible.

Two months ago I had a player (in a microgaming casino) that had deposited nearly $ 15,000 to the 27th of that month, with little luck to him. On the 28th another player who only had deposited about $ 250 earned more than $ 10,000.

Good luck, better luck, not good luck ....
