Question It's October 31st. Are you celebrating Halloween this year?

Today is October 31st. That means this evening is Halloween.

Certainly it is a popular night to celebrate in the states. I know I have a stock of candy to hand out to the several dozen children that usually pass by our house saying "Trick or Treat."

How about you? Do you celebrate Halloween at all? By offering candy to trick-or-treaters, carving a pumpkin, dressing up in costume, hosting or attending a party, or something else? Or to you live in an area where Halloween is not celebrated? And do you promote any Halloween specials or bonus offers on your gaming sites?

I voted "No, but Halloween is celebrated by others where I live." I used to celebrate Halloween, but not anymore. It's because I'm older now and it was more fun and exciting when I was still a young boy. Most of my friends and neighbours still celebrate Halloween, but i don't see many people wandering the streets and door knocking like they used to do.

I don't bother with Halloween but the wife likes to do 'something' for it. Last night I was forced to watch a 1962 black & white movie called Carnival Of Souls. I suppose it was scary at the time but I've been more scared watching Spongebob Squarepants.

Given you live in Australia, I find your comments bizarre. Surely you wrote this in jest???!!!

Here in Australia we don't celebrate the 4'th of July, just like the USA doesn't celebrate 26'th January (Australia Day).

Halloween came to light here around 2010, and for a few years it was popular. It's nothing more than a marketing ploy for retailers. Which, its fad-status is fading fast. Not a single group knocked on our door this year, nor did we spot any wandering the streets.

Our friends noticed a huge declined too. So I don't know what your talking about.

Surely Canberra isn't that stuck for activities. Though, what's one more post about garbage, right!

Decorating the office and dressing up, followed by games!
