Personally I prefer their version, Thor on their version obviously uses conditioner in his hair, unlike the MGS version of Thunderstruck.

Here is their Big Kahuna followed by MGS's version:

Haha! Clearly they are historically inaccurate too as Head & Shoulders conditioner was only first marketed in 1067.

We should have a competition to see if you can name the MG games the symbols in this game come from.

I can see Snakes & Ladders, Kahuna and Dino Might so far. Can't place the cherries and oranges yet though. The corn on the cob is familiar - and I love how they left the word "scatter" in it too. LOL

I read the thread at Meisters as of yesterday and although it took a while it was quite entertaining....

Has anyone found any games stolen from Playtech yet?

In my opinion this appears to be some very blatant theft of intelectual property and I would think the software companies affected could get some pretty swift action against the software developers and thus the licensees as well.

Thats not a cob of corn, that's a pepper and comes from Bush Telegraph. Just turned from red to yellow.

I've been reading and enjoying this topic this morning and just noticed this POS pinched the name of one of my branded sites and used it as forum nickname to shill his rogue operation. GRRRRRRRRRRRR - went from being amused to pissed off!

Threatening webbies is out of order, which I might write up. But I pass on the rest. Copyright infringement? What about Tusk and Eurolinx?

Microgaming lost any sympathy from me two poker room scandals ago. I'm not about to start complaining that some Indian nobody copied the slots of a corporation with this track record.

They know how to regain my sympathy if they ever want to.

BTW - the graphics have exploded this thread.

All too funny minus the threats. Strange though APCW mentions Ministering Angel Casino been trying to shut them down since last year. Who knows maybe their all connected in one way or another.

I'm glad these guys are getting negative publicity. What are they thinking? The threats make things 1000X worse. That's a great example of what not to do.

Get outta there. He's Indian, and a nobody. That makes him an Indian nobody. If he was an Australian, he'd be an Aussie nobody. Or a French nobody. Or a Welsh nobody.

    Stop stirring.

FWIW - I still can't find the connection between Salus and JH. Can somebody enlighten?

I was under the impression that Salus was the software development company...

I sorta remember the connection being posted at Meisters....although as long as that thread is it may be difficult to find the popst that clarified that....but it was during the first 10 pages or s I believe....lol

Maybe Dave can remember....lol but I will take a look as I haven't been over there today...

I too read a suggestion that Salus was the software company. But there was no proven connection I could see, nor any I can find on the JH site.

You could say (if you were bothered) that Salus appears to have used Microgaming as a template. You can't currently say that JH has, unless there is a proven connection which I've missed. From that perspective, JH might have reason to be pissed off with the allegations.

There might be something in the download, but I'm not going to dowload the software to find out. I'd still like clarification on the proof of connection, if only for interest. I daresay it's out there somewhere.

And I assume all those who've written articles know? LOL, please enlighten me.

Vinylweatherman first mentiuoned the connection on page 3 of the thread.

I thought I had seen this proven at one point but don't remember where.

I do not know if vinyweatherman downloaded the software and looked inside the code for this or not....

I thought someone had found a page at the developer's site, or it was at the site where you can hire programmers that one of them used programming games for the casino was mentioned....sorry but after that long of a thread I may have read it wrong also....

I agree, I like to stick to facts also....

For clarity, this was the statement the JH rep made regards the software:

If we prefer not to dislose how and with whom we built our unique casino software, it's for ONE reason. We don't want new competitors to purchase it and use the same. Else it would no longer be unique. Raphael
Gotta love the use of the word "unique"

This post provides a little more research on "Salus Technolgies":
